Great sales on products sometimes, but don't attempt to order online without reviewing your receipt before leaving the store.
I got an email that my order was ready. When I arrived around 7:30pm the employee behind check out told me to check the shelves. There's no order, however when checking with the associate she informs us it's too big so it's behind counter. No problem.
I receive order and headed home. A 20 minute drive. Only to find a product missing. I call the store and inform them I am missing a product. They put me on hold and get a manager.
From the get go the manager seems to have an attitude. I told the manager what the problem was and she told me that I just placed another order for the product. I told her that I did in fact order it all together and that I would expect it to all be together when I picked it up. She told me that they couldn't find it before.
So I ask her why no one mentioned it. And she responds "HoW WoUlD We dO tHat?โ
Idk maybe through email? Maybe you inform the customer at check out? Any number of ways? Then she tells me she is getting it ready now. So I have to drive back 20 minutes RIGHT after getting home. Before heading that way I tell the manager I don't appreciate the attitude and with anyone would have mentioned I could wait a few minutes for my product or that I wasn't getting it at all. Either would have been great but not telling me and then I have to drive back wasting gas and time is ridiculous. She tells me that is just her voice, she just speaks with an attitude normally.
If I didn't need the product tonight I would have just canceled. And if I had ordered separate this would all make sense but when you online order from ANY other retailer they will inform you of substitutes, missing products, etc. Before you...

However the three stars review was a direct result of their product placement or more particularly their product misplacement. I had picked two items that I was very excited to be buying, but when checking out one of the items I picked was $14 more and another one I had was $5 more than it was marked on their shelves. So I asked the clerk about what would their company be willing to do to correct an issue that was there because they didn't check their product placement, I was told there would be nothing they would be willing to do to fix their stores mistake.
Ya'll other than that the store was clean and inviting. But I'd suggest that you check the actual prices yourself. I'm sure if I'll return. ๐ ๐ค
Edited: to add that even though the item was miss marked that doesn't mean that the cashier wasn't as friendly as can be!! She was very courteous to me the whole time. Even as my oldest child told me I might have been a bit of a "karen". I truly hope I wasn't, but if I was I do sincerely apologize ๐ I've also updated my star rating to its appropriate five...

I went to Micheals on 3 separate occassions, first time there was some confusion concerning a misplaced item under a sales tag. Not a big deal , it was just a few bucks difference, my issue was more so Julie J attitude. She handled that situation poorly, I just walked away feeling sorry for her assuming she was having a bad day. Second time I witness the same negative attitude with an employee, her unprofessionalism certainly needs to be addressed. Ask employees and watch the cameras for a few days and catch this bad apple in action. And lastly, I was returning some iron vinyl and Ms Julie treated me as if I was bothering her, I try to make lite talk to break the ice, but she was in full stone face character, shuffling my return items around haphazardly, hardly making any eye contact, never brandishing a smile, never asking how was my day, after the transaction I said thank you and good by, Julie just ignored me and called for some to pick up the return. That was the last straw for me. I will no longer shop at micheals. Ms. JULIE J...needs to be demoted, not fired...she should not be the first...
