Absolutely Horrifying and Unsafe Experience - "Do NOT Eat Here" To the management of the Panda Express on 24th Ave NW in Norman, OK: I am writing this review with a shaking hand and a heavy heart, filled with sadness and rage. As an eight-month-pregnant woman, I came to your establishment on 24th Ave NW with the simple hope of enjoying a meal. What I received, instead, was a traumatic and deeply disturbing experience that has left me questioning your basic standards of food safety and customer care.I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, and to my utter disbelief and horror, I found a disgusting worm crawling in my food. A WORM. I immediately brought this to the attention of your management, expecting a sincere apology and a full refund for this unsanitary and unsafe product.Instead, I was met with a cold, uncaring response. I was told that worm might came from zuchini and a refund was not an option. Not an option! My health, the health of my unborn child, and my absolute disgust were apparently not worth the price of a single meal. Your only offer was to give me a "fresh" order. How can you possibly expect me to trust your kitchen to make a second "clean" order when the first one was contaminated with a live insect? My concern is, what if this second order also had worms? This is not just about money; this is a serious public health issue, and you dismissed it completely.I am appalled by your lack of concern for customer well-being. It is clear that your business values money over the health and safety of your patrons. This is a vulnerable situation for anyone, but especially for me right now. This is a deep concern that needs to be addressed immediately.Your actions were not just disappointing, they were a complete failure of responsibility. I will be posting this review on every platform possible to ensure other customers are aware of the appalling hygiene standards and a shocking lack of compassion at your...
Read moreBought dinner here this evening, I waited 20 minutes for my food after they had me pay and park, I ordered the shrimp and steak as one of my sides, was told about the up charge which is fine like always, well I get home and go to eat my dinner and the serving size for my steak and shrimp was literally 3 shrimp and a 2 very small steak piece. How is that even a side serving ? How it it fair to up charge me and then give less the half of a serving. I will post a picture so you can see. I have noticed that their serving sizes are getting smaller and smaller but the prices are going up and up. This is not okay. Be honest and fair and give the right portion. Like I said above I don’t mind paying the up charge for the shrimp dishes but at least put enough in there to make it a serving at least. Also being pulled and waiting 20 minutes for my food was a bit extra. I wasn’t the only car pulled either, literally every car was being pulled to park and having to wait excessive amounts of time for food that is a drive through. We shouldn’t have to park and wait what it takes at a sit down restaurant for fast food. One lady next to my had waited 35 minutes when I was leaving and she had ordered before me of course as she was there longer then me. This is not okay. No one offered anything in compensation either to anyone, no discount, no free drink while you wait, no coupon for next visit, no even an apology for the long wait just here’s your food with a snicker and mad looking face. Please try to do better.
To add I used the fork to move the chicken out of the way to find the...
Read moreI recently placed a larger mobile order for my office, hoping to bring back a couple of bowls and some side dishes. Mobile orders usually take less than 15 minutes, so I arrived early. When I arrived I could see that part of my order was already prepared, so I took a seat and waited for the rest of the order.
However, by the time the last bowl was ready, I had been waiting for nearly 25 minutes, and it had been 40 minutes since I placed the order. Given how busy they were, I understood the delay, but I needed to get back to work and didn’t want to bring back food that had been sitting out for so long. Feeling hungry and a bit frustrated, I decided to ask for a refund.
There wasn’t a manager available, but the supervisor, Jessica, stepped in to help. She directed me to contact their assistance line to initiate the refund process, which went smoothly. I want to commend Jessica for her professionalism and for turning a potentially negative experience into a positive one.
Despite this incident, I’m giving 5 stars because I frequently visit this place, and this was the first time I had an issue. I’ll definitely be coming back, but I’ll stick to smaller orders...
