Recommendations: Ask for a room on the first floor. A bunch of baseball families stayed and the kids filled up the pool, ran the hallways and played football in the hallways. They didn’t do this on the first floor. And I don’t blame the hotel for any of them families. Parents, get control of your future all stars.

Breakfast: I amazing. It’s always hot and from 630-900.

Pool: Was outside. Open from 9am to 10pm. Fills up fast as it’s not very big.

Gym: small, only 3-4 people at a time.24 hours. Adequate for the amount of people that use it. Only 1 treadmills, so that may be a choke point.

Laundry: The hotel has laundry. It’s 2$ to wash and dry your clothes. If you use it, change the loads. Linda had her lingerie in there for 3 hours. Linda, I don’t appreciate it. I have dirty draws I need washed as well.

Service: Everyone was amazing. From the night staff making sure I had what I needed, to the breakfast area attendees making sure the milk wasn’t expired and food was fresh and hot, to the manager who helped us with a cardboard box for a picture we had drawn, to the kind ladies who made my bed. Thank you all!

Building: The building was clean and taken care of.

Rooms: I had a king, so in it had a couch and a desk. No dresser. Very little space to put clothes away or hang. I had a full suit case and hate to live out of it… so I used the top shelf and the safe to fold and house my clothes.

Bathrooms: the bathrooms accessible to the lobby were clean.

Pets: not allowed.

Parking: Plenty of free parking. Right off of the main drag. There is parking around back and a boardwalk to get to the hotel. I parked back there and it was way easier than trying to squeeze into spaces where Jeff from Jeff’s bathroom rebuild’s truck was parking from line to line with wide tires. Parking out back may be the answer for trucks with trailers as well. Next door is a lot for...

When we have medical appointments in the area we always stay at this hotel, several times a year, never a problem. This time I booked online for 3 nights based on appointments but upon checking in I told the desk staff we may not need the final 3rd night and was told that would be fine just to let them know in advance which I did Thursday afternoon stating we would be checking out Friday am. The staff member thanked me and-said she would note the file. Friday at 8:00 am when checking out the rude desk clerk told me I could check out but I would still be charged for the additional night stay. She stated she knew her manager would not refund the charge for the additional night because I booked online. She was rude and disrespectful and when I dropped the keys on the marble counter they slid a few inches and she accused me of throwing the keys and stated I was on video throwing the keys. I do hope the video was reviewed because tossing the keys on the counter and them sliding on the slick surface was NOT throwing and her attitude needs to be reviewed. She never even offered to get or put me in touch with the manager. I did book online through your website and when checking in gave ample warning that we may not need the 3rd night. We are senior citizens that did not need to stay the additional night and had we been told when checking in that we would be charged whether we stayed or not we could have gone elsewhere. Again, up until this incident, we always stayed at this Holiday inn express with no problem at all. However, In the future we will take our business to a hotel that has a little more respect for their customers and appreciate the patronage. I have stayed with Holiday Inn Express over numerous years and in several cities and have never been treated so unreasonably by this...

By far this was the best trip we taken since the pandemic. It started out awesome walking in to the receptionist greeting us all while handling a customer on the phone she was so professional her customer service was A+ she was very knowledgeable about the area and reccomended the best restaurant for our dinner and she was right it was good. I don't want to mess up her name but she was working Friday evening when we checked in. After unloading and getting to the room I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room the bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby the mattress just hugged you. I know this may be long but I wanted to make sure I gave these hard working employees their flowers. There was a young man I believe his name is(Byran) I was so amazed at his work ethic he was everywhere from taking out trash to picking up linen very nice young man. My most favorite time was Saturday morning breakfast let me tell you about Mr. Tyrone and the cafe staff everything looked amazing the presentation was on point from the piping hot coffee to the amazing omelet to the pancake maker we really enjoyed ourselves the employees was steady cleaning and filling items so they don't run out. Mr. Tyrone was awesome his spirit is contagious so full of joy and he just spreads the love to all he comes in contact with he and the cafe team is a great asset to your company. Thank you all for making our...

Overall a good stay. There was no mention of the ongoing renovation and the elevators were covered in dust/debris. The stairwell had construction material out in the open. The rooms were OK best was the walk in shower. It was hard to tell if it had been renovated. Front desk staff member was not very welcoming. Check- in was lengthy, we were not recognized as a member. As a diamond member we wanted to upgrade to the suite and she would not even though it was available every day from that day and after. She was adamant about knowing the names of the people in our rooms (been a member for over 15years never once asked that) parking was good. Grounds were clean. Breakfast was the same as all HIExpress.
