I had a disrespectful experience here and want to warn others before spending your money.
I dropped off a product 8 weeks ago, and only after I called to remind them twice did they realize it was still sitting at their store untouched. After finally addressing it, it took them just 4 hours to complete — which makes the 2-month delay even more frustrating.
I was then charged $232 for a simple jersey reframe and a gray replacement backboard, even though the entire jersey frame was already built 100%. When I tried to discuss the unreasonable delay and poor communication, the owner’s husband actually laughed at us and made the situation worse.
He followed my family outside the store, harassing us with rude comments like “no one else could do this as well as we do.” Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.
To top it off, many of the items sold in the store are the same ones you can find at HomeGoods for a fraction of the cost. They buy and resell at marked-up prices — nothing unique or special about that. My wife found this out after we spent an additional $100+ on Halloween items regretfully.
We chose this local shop over another in Layton because they promised a 14 day turnaround. Layton quoted 3-4 weeks. Instead, we waited 2 months and only got results after calling them ourselves. The finished jersey looks no different than the ones I’ve had framed elsewhere — just with far worse service/professionailism.
Bottom line: Poor communication, terrible customer service, unprofessional behavior, and inflated pricing. I highly recommend going elsewhere for framing or décor.
Maybe next time instead of laughing at a customer you stand by your word and take...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start! I had been in this charming store a few times when I really looked at the framing shop in the back of the store.
I have a picture of my sweet dad when he was ~1 1/2 years old (he was born in 1919). I also have an antique gun, holster and an old tin photo. All of these I wanted to display. The picture is oval with a broken frame (original) and bubble glass and the others I have had for years, but didn’t know what to do with them.
I talked to Janet, made an appt and took all my things in. I also had stories about the gun and where it came from. We picked out the frame and backing and allowed Janet’s creative juices to flow!
Well, needless to say, I was brought to tears with the results! Janet and her husband are true artists! They created something that I will always cherish! The original frame is repaired and the bubble glass replaced and the attention to detail on the shadow box along with the placement of the items is beyond what I envisioned! I will have them displayed on my wall after next week and will add the picture; however, I could not wait any longer to post on what an amazing talent this couple possess! They even pulled up time appropriate maps of the area where my grandpa served with his gun and showed me (which of course we had framed)! Added to that, the interest and attention that was provided to detail is amazing!

Read moreWhen I came into Four Sisters with a door from our very '90s oak bathroom cabinet, I had a million questions about how to update its look with different stains and paints. Lisa spent a generous half-hour walking me through each step, showing me how to properly prep the cabinets while I took pictures and notes on my phone. Janet, the owner, then encouraged me to schedule an appointment to bring the door back so she could test various stains on it, making sure we found exactly what we were looking for.
My husband and I did just that. Janet, who is incredibly dedicated and passionate about serving her customers, spent over an hour with us—after hours, no less—patiently painting and sharing her years of experience to guide us. Her commitment to her customers and love for what she does are evident in every interaction. I'll definitely return to Four Sisters for all my DIY needs, along with their beautiful home decor and furniture, unique gifts from Utah artisans, and custom framing. Plus, their website is easy to use and navigate, making it even simpler to explore all they offer. Forget Hobby Lobby or IKEA.
