We had a mixed experience at Warren's today. We went on a Saturday around 12.30 and it was fairly busy because of the market. I expected it to busy but I didn't expect the treatment that we and other visitors were given by the girl at the front. When we first entered we were not greeted as there was noone at the front. After about 5 minutes of standing in the waiting area she came back and brought a negative attitude with her. All the people around us were patient and kind despite the way they were spoken to. She was huffing and puffing and making faces and erratically asking different people what they wanted. Multiple people came asking to be put on the waitlist but there was no real order and their names weren't taken. She kept telling the others in the waiting room that she was the "only one here" and "didn't really know". I'm young and have worked in food service and am usually pretty patient but I almost convinced my husband to leave but ultimately I'm glad we stayed. The manager (i assume) saved the day by coming to the front and taking charge. She made sure we were all taken care of and was assertive but very polite and warm.
We were sat not long after that and were served by an exceptional employee, cean. He was friendly and polite and told us the specials etc. He got us our drinks and answered all questions we had. Our food was amazing. My husband got a turkey burger and I got the chicken tenders. The portions were a little small but the food was delicious.
The other employees really saved our experience as I was so put off at how we were treated initially. Like I said before, I'm a college student who has worked in food service and have had to deal with people a lot. Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with this place. While the burger creativity is nice and food is decent the service is extremely poor.
We received a marketing flyer in the mail with a coupon code for buy one get one free. I tried to use it but forgot to enter the code online so I immediately called and asked for them to enter it for me. I was told that the “lead” said they have no way to enter it in and I’d have to pay full price. I said I could bring the coupon with me so they could see it but I was told that wouldn’t help since I didn’t enter it online, “their system had no way of giving a discount.” I was reluctant but agreed to pay full price as I figured I’d just enter it online next time, no worries.
Well I ordered again tonight and entered the promo code online and paid half price. I go to pick up my food and when I get there they tell me they can’t honor my coupon unless I have it with me. I told them I already paid online and I don’t have it with me. They said if I didn’t have it they’d have to charge me full price. Apparently their systems can change prices after all! And now the presence of the mailer will suffice but the promo code online wasn’t enough.
So they sent me home to get the coupon code in a blizzard.
I get my food 40 mins later after driving home and back again in the blizzard.
When I get home to eat finally, everything is cold and soggy.

Read moreGreat food, but not so great service. This was the first time I had been to this restaurant. I ordered the B.A.D burger, and received a Mac and cheese burger. I immediately returned the incorrect order, while my friend and fiancé began eating their meals. As I waited for my food to come out, not once were we approached by our server, Mikayla. By the time my burger came out, the rest of our party had finished eating. I requested that the food be boxed up, at which point we got the check. This was the first time that I had chosen not to tip my server. The reason being that I got a wrong order, and the server seemed to refuse to acknowledge that a mistake had been made. I never got an apology, just an empty tummy. In fact, it was pretty obvious that she was trying to avoid us. I understand that people have “off” days, but I feel that the accountability here was completely thrown out the window. Her attitude with our table wasn’t great from the start, but I could have dealt with it had I not had to wait for my food while I watched others enjoying theirs. I’m giving 2 stars instead of one because once I got home and opened my to-go box, I realized the the food was very enjoyable.
