Wingstop — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I stopped by this Wingstop location today around noon to pick up an order, and what I witnessed was really disappointing. While I was waiting (which I was told would be about 20–25 minutes which is totally fine), I overheard what seemed to be a manager speaking very rudely to a new employee. He abruptly told her there was “no use” for her and that she needed to clock out and go home. She appeared to still be in training and trying her best, so watching him speak to her like that in front of customers was shocking and honestly uncalled for.

Even after she clocked out, he continued complaining about her to another employee, all while she was still sitting nearby. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional to witness as a customer. He later tried to backtrack by saying she was “just going on break” and could clock back in later, but the damage was already done.

On top of that, there were other loud and inappropriate conversations happening in the back, which made the atmosphere feel even more chaotic. I ended up leaving before even getting my order because I was so disgusted by how that employee was treated.

To be honest, the food here is hit or miss anyway often overcooked and dry. I’ve given this location several chances, but the quality and now the customer experience just don’t make it worth coming back. I really hope the management improves, for the sake of both the employees and...

This location was very disappointing for 3 reason.

We ordered online and after waiting our 43 minute online wait time, we showed up to this location and we were told it was still being made. After waiting 30 minutes after our order was supposedly being “made” My husband asked if it was ready, The guy grabbed our order and we realized it was sitting there for over 10 minutes with no one calling our order name.

The food was very disappointing. Fries were soggy and over seasoned. Our wings were sat on top of each other leaving my husbands dry seasoned wings, soggy. Wings were awful. Buffalo wild wings does way better. not sorry. They were butter flavored with sauce that was not that great. How do you mess up buffalo wings?

They had to 20 employees running around and crammed in one kitchen yet it was over an hour wait. The employees were overwhelmed with business. One was being a bit dramatic . Cursing in front of customers (including children) stating “i can’t do this anymore” during a busy dinner service. They ended up going home for the night by choice. Finally went here last night (November 8, 2023) and I had a great experience!

First, we ordered online in the parking lot because we thought you couldn't dine in, waited about five minutes before walking in, and were treated by a very nice, enthusiastic man. He asked us for our name and said our food wasn't ready yet (obviously, we had just placed the order five minutes before). We sat at a table and waited for our food and it was ready within 5 or so minutes and they were extremely busy during this time. Nothing but DoorDash orders for them and they were still pumping out order after order for the DoorDashers.

Also, regarding the DoorDash orders, the man at the front was reading EVERY SINGLE RECEIPT on the bags to make sure the DoorDashers got what they were picking up. He never stopped reading those receipts on the bags even though there were DoorDashers coming in through that door nonstop while we dined.

They were really busy and we still got our food on time and nice and fresh. My husband even said they were the best wings he ever had at any Wingstop he's ever been to!
