Never have I been so disrespected at a restaurant while saying "please" and "thank you".
I ordered two build-your-own pizzas. Don't know if this was the infamous "Jonah" mentioned in another review, but he deliberately ignored my requests, was sarcastic, rude, etc. I asked for some spinach, he put a little bit on. I said can I please have a little bit more. He put a singular piece of spinach on the pizza and looked me dead in the eyes. I was quite puzzled, and asked politely again. He again, put a singular piece of spinach. He did this for all of the toppings, ignoring whatever I said.
He then said he has pizzas in the oven and has to hurry, while not hurrying at all. Keep in mind, I came in the store around 2:00-2:30, when I was the only person in the store (later as I was finishing building my pizzas, two people walked in, but it was pretty much as dead as it could get).
I was, to say the least, quite put out because I had been ignored, lied to, and disrespected. At the register, a young lady asked if I was ready to pay. I said that I was frustrated that I wasn't getting what I wanted. She looked at me, and instead of fixing the problem, walked away, got "maybe-Jonah" and had him take my payment.
As my pizza was cooking, I really wanted to fix the problem and wondered if there was something that I had done that had offended him. I went up to him and asked, "Hey, did I do something that bothered you?". He replied, "No, you just had too many toppings on." This amazed me, especially keeping in mind his stingy toppings that he put on. I said, "Sorry, is there a rule for the build-your-own pizzas that you can't ask for more toppings? I thought that was the point of that pizza. He replied there was no rule and that was correct, then lied to my face again and said that he couldn't add the toppings because there were too many pizzas in the oven (not true. at that point, there were my two pizzas, and two pizzas from the customers behind me).
So I wished him a good day and that he would feel better....
Read moreI miss Pizza studio so when this place opened (after 2 weeks of opening) and looked like what pizza studio did, thought I'd give it a try cause my kids wanted to eat Pizza. On a Friday evening the place looked packed (prob 30+ min wait). So i called and asked how long to go order will take. They said it would be ready in 10. So I Thought, why not order it over the phone and pick it up. We went in and found a table to sit and wait. Waited 10 mins... went up and asked if my order was ready. They said not yet. Waited another 10 mins (by that time the line hadnt gotten much shorter.. yikes..) So I asked again.. And they apologized for getting my name wrong It was out for a while . I grabbed it and decided to just eat. Requested half bbq and half cheese. When I opened... barely any cheese... something looked out of place. Then realized there was no bbq sauce. I asked an employee who was cleaning up if that is what bbq should look like and he said no and offered to put sauce on top but instead I asked for it in a small container. Then he talked to some people and offered a complementary dessert. That was nice. The cookie Smores was delicious. Pizza not so much. I see others who also had bad experience with missing toppings.. maybe they were just still getting hang of it. Total time spent: 45mins. During that time I think maybe 2 families went through the line.. felt bad for them! For food quality for value of price, I would rate it 2 but with complementary item, I'm giving them 3. I might give them a try again but I really miss Pizza studio, they would give us a lots...

I ordered the Green Stripe pizza, and loved that they make the pizza right in front of you and ask if there are sufficient toppings on the pizza! This makes it very customizable. Myself not being huge melted cheese fan, was able to order my pizza with just the right amount and include a little more chicken, peppers, and oregano on the the pizza.
As the pizza’s here are thin crust, I thought I would need a little extra food to tide me over. So I also ordered the Greek side salad.
While waiting for my pizza to cook I was pleased to find a miniature shuffleboard. I played a round with my best friend who was with me and it helped pass the time in delightful competition. When our food came out we were in the midst of determining who would be the winner. We finished the game before sitting down to eat.
I found the pizza to be delicious. Their pizzas are smaller, so if you are really hungry you will want one for yourself. I would definitely order it again. Though I would probably try the other ones before rotating back around to the Green Stripe Pizza, so as to try all their signature pizzas. The salad was good, but a bit heavy on the seasoning, it did give me that iconic greek taste. I was not super hungry so I found the pizza (which I shared) and the salad (which I ate by myself) to be just the right amount of food.
I would recommend Blaze Pizza to anyone wanting a good pizza and fun atmosphere. Go...
