Altar'd State Forum Shops — Local services in Paradise

My friends and I were visiting from out of town and went this Sunday 9/29 around 4pm -5pm. There was an employee with glasses following my friends and I very closely at the front of the store. We have all worked retail and completely understand it’s the associates job to keep merchandise from walking out of the store, but this associate was very rude to the point of when we turned around she was basically touching us. I don’t even think she used the guise of being helpful and asking if we needed help finding anything. She may just need some retraining on how to correctly “keep an eye on customers” without making us feel like shopping is a criminal act. I love this store for it pretty and girly clothes, it’s saddening to know that some of the employees aren’t as pretty on the inside. I had the unfortunate experience of overhearing Lila/Illa gossiping with another girl(dark hair?) about customers while I was shopping with my friend. It was distressing to hear personal and negative comments being made about another woman/girl. Not only was it unprofessional, but it also created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It made me feel self conscious about myself even though I don’t think she was talking about us. Went into this store to look for some nice floral dresses for the wife. They offer a wide selection. The store smells good and the decore is pleasing to the eyes. Prices can be expensive if you don’t shop for the deals. I don’t like paying over $70 on a dress made in China. We ended up getting a buy one get one half off which came out to be 105 plus tax. 52.50 a dress was a little more worth it. Especially at the...
