First time experience here. The casino is nice, however it's really hit or miss with the dealers. Some are nice and will treat you well. Others (most) are pushy, rude, and overall unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are new to cash games. My first five minutes was, sitting down at a table, getting into a hand, then when I asked how much was bet ( because I wasn't sure on the chip denominations, and the chips were hard to see for me). I was told ( " use your eyes and look, I don't have to tell you"). In addition, I was barely even given 2 seconds to look at my cards before being rushed to make a decision. I even apologized for my ineptitude and asked for a little patience from the dealer so I could play properly, which was met with a distasteful scowl and then the dealer promptly continued more of the same.
So unless you are an experienced player who can make instant decisions, you may have a similar experience. If it was some high roller table, maybe an attitude towards someone newer might be warranted.
But for 1/2, it's legitimately designed so the bar for entry is lower so newer players can have some fun too.
I'm not a brand new poker player by any means, i'm just new to cash games at live settings. I just don't go to these kinds of events often because of extreme social anxiety disorder. But I've been trying to get over it and going out regardless, and when situations like this arise it makes it that much harder to try again. But I'm sure I'll find a casino in Vegas that might be a bit more open to...

Read moreReally great blue-collar vibe poker room. Hardly an Aria backpack-wearing hipster in site but more of a friendly (although serious action can break out at any moment) space. It's social if you like that but it's fine to just play and keep out of the chat too. No one really cares here and it just feels like a nice night out at the poker room. Your average 1-2 table will have a grinder or three, a few actiony tourists, maybe one drunk guy and a generally overall pleasant vibe. You might run into the occasional $#@! but that's kind of a poker fact worldwide. Nothing gets out of control here and most people seem to be enjoyong themselves and the company of their fellow players. Room seems to be run pretty well overall and the waitress service is about par to better than comparable rooms. Dealers are very good and personable. Expect a wide variety of poker player levels and relax and you'll enjoy a night out...
