Describe my experience? Frustrating, annoying, maddening like watching a 2 year old trying to put together a 4 piece puzzle; this isn't that hard, why can't you get it right? I'll be surprised if my internet is even fast enough to post this! After upgrading from the slowest internet package I now can not stream videos, or view images without wondering if I have suddenly been stuck in a time warp where the rest of the world is moving faster, kind of like, "Flight of the Navigator." Calling the national number ended in one employee putting me on hold, and then ending the call after 20 minutes. The next poor soul was more full of apologies than solutions. It took 5 days to get me connected, and now here I am with internet that is so slow I've been waiting to hear the modem sound I remember from the mid '90's. I would love to switch, but there are no other options in the building where I am renting. First world problems you say? Yup, with first world prices. If you want to charge me $2.50/month I'll take it all back. Yeah, I don't see that happening. In the meantime I will be working hard to get Utah Broadband in here. Comcast only exists due to monopolies; this company would last about as long as Chris Christie's presidential campaign if they had competition.    Read moreI was a client with comcast for 17 years at my home and at my business in park city. My business internet stopped working due to road work being done on I80. There line was damages. I waited for the repairs to be made and issues fixed for 12 months and continued paying my bill. They were never able to resolve them and the tech who kept coming out basically said I may want to find a different provider. So I did and cancelled my account. They kept charging my card for two months. After I got it stopped they sent me a statement showing I am owed a $220.22 refund. This is not the total amount of payments made but I was sick of dealing with them. I never received the refund. So I called back.. They said it was because I never returned my equipment but I did. Their tech was the one who removed it from my office. They said they would send a refund again a month later. Never did. Called them back and they said they could not send a refund check again. I explained that I am an insurance office and we make sure to check every piece of mail. They need to send me a refund. They agreed two more times to send it but never have.    Read moreRudest manager imagineable. I manage an old womans property here in town and her internet went down. We are told by comcast they need a new box. So I pack up the old box, bring it to them with all the information, get her authorization through comcast customer service and they wont let me pick up the box without it. I think, sure ill just go grab her. So we drive back pick up the barely mobile 82 year old woman, and make it back 5 minutes before their screwy "lunch hour" . Great grandmother in tow, they are locking up 5 minutes before their lunch hour. The subordinate male employer, looks at us like he wants to help, only to look back his boss, and her saying they cant help us til after lunch. Ok, drop off the woman at home, have a laugh about how terrible comcast is, drive back an hour later, great grandmother in tow a second time. They check and they dont have any inventory, and they will ship out a new box. :|
This is not my first encounter with the woman manager, she may be one of the rudest people ive ever met. I liken the experience to having teeth pulled without anesthetic
