Door code didnât work locking us out days:1,2,3 of 4 night stay. At check in day I called the office and they told me it was a connection issue. Never repaired during stay. Day one coffee machine was replaced. Day two replaced machine didnât work. Called office again for another replacement. We could finally brew coffee on morning of day 3. Condo had one roll (no spare) of TP that didnât last. Morning of day 3 called office for more. Same day after skiing all day we were locked out again, so I walked to town Park City Lodging office to ask for more TP and also ask for a metal door key. My daughter said sitting and waiting on the deck for over 1 and a half hours, after a long day of skiing, was no fun. This after she first said âOpen the door fast dad I have to go.â Day 2 the kitchen stools were coming apart; me falling off once. During my morning office call asking for more TP, I informed them of the kitchen stools. Loose screws we could finger tighten but one was missing. While locked out and I was sitting in the town office until issued a metal door key, maintenance fixed the stools and left the key. The stools had not been fixed since my morning office call and was only repaired during my âsit inâ at the office. Kitchen sink didnât drain on check in day. Called office and it was repaired day 2. Garbage can lid would not rise when stepping on foot pedal. We could see the hinge was broken. Only option was to remove lid and have open garage. We called office day two to let them know of the garbage can. Never replaced or repaired during stay. I asked if one night stay could be compensated. Response from office: (No. Everything was fixed in a timely manner. We are giving you $50 gift card to restaurant next door.) When we went to the restaurant, the waitress said that was not a reasonable compensation when we informed her why we had the gift card. The location of (Quitin Time) condo was good. We could walk off the slopes to the location and walk to the heart of Historic Park City. The small condo is on the lower level of the three story complex, so there is no view. Easy access to city and ...
Read moreNightmare after nightmare: Do not book room 232 or 232A! We checked in to room 232A at 5 pm only to find the AC was barely working, orange water flowing out of the shower, hard sheets that were actually so worn they had rough spots on them, no caffeinated coffee for the next morning, no kitchenette (unless you count a tiny microwave and fridge), old carpet and basically a small outdated lockout room. --We immediately called management, and the person who assisted us, Kristie, was so incredibly understanding and apologetic that she is the reason for one of the two stars. She offered us a few solid solutions, all of which did include us having to make it thru the night hot on hard sheets, etc. Unfortunately, Kristieâs investment in assisting us and problem solving on us moving was NOT supported by the owners. ---In the end, we had to agree to pay the owners an additional 153.00 for 4 nights to be in the adjoining 1 bedroom unit (which by the way was the location of the AC thermometer)! Unsurprisingly, since this was the same owner the saga continued. We made ourselves feel better about paying the extra money, because 232 included a balcony, which ended up being unbearable due to the obnoxiously loud AC unit located right next to the cute chairs and tables. We attempted to turn off our AC, but to no avail, because the unit on our patio served several other condos, so we could not cut it off. Oh, the door handle to the sliding glass door actually came off when I closed the door. The list of the inefficient stove top, older fridge and microwave could go on, but suffice to say that we were highly disappointed. While 153.00 is not a lot of money, it is of course, the point that to keep guests happy, 153.00 is not a lot of money! --On a positive note (earning the second star), the location was perfect for walking 500 yards to a slew of restaurants. Additionally, from talking to other guests, I know that some of the units are indeed updated. So, please learn from our mistake, and make sure that you get pictures of the exact room or unit you will be assigned to...
Read moreWe called, as we were instructed, as we left SL airport on the way up the mountain to mention that we were ahead of schedule. The very obliging lady, advised us that the condo was ready for us to access. On our arrival I punch the code in many times, to no avail. I finally rang the office number, but a second lady couldnât help us, and sent a maintenance man around. A delightful young man let us in and proceeded to fix the problem..........phone calls later it was rectified. This left an uneasy feeling with us.........â what if we go out at night and canât get back inâ
As this was going on we began to unpack, only to find there was no pantry. All groceries had to be stored on the counter top, always looking untidy. One cupboard full of 10 dinner plates, 10 salad plates and about12 coffee mugs, a bit of an overkill for a condo that sleeps 2 or 4 if the sofa bed is used! Otherwise the kitchen was very good, however the refrigerator made a terrible racket.
This condo is NOT A WINTER let. No wet tray for snowy wet ski boots and oversnow boots. Inadequate space to hang 2 ski jackets, 2 helmets plus over jackets and vests, consequently some wet ski jackets or top coats had to be hung on the back of the counter stools.........again making the condo untidy. No where to store skis. The locker outside the front door had no lock. Rather than bring more wet things inside, with nowhere to put them, we chose to store our skis elsewhere, not particularly satisfactory. The outside locker had leaves from the Fall and dirt inside it.
Nowhere to storage empty luggage bags,as the closet had other things ie a fan and a luggage rack. Luggage had to be stored in the living space. For the price, very poor facilities.
The bathroom was great.
I hope this will help other guests, Kind...
