This place was okay food wise, but I am not okay with the fact that their management thinks state law trumps federal law. I arrived with my parents because we swapped cars at the last minute so my purse was in my brothers car. I only had my military ID on me in my pocket. They wouldn't let me in to their establishment unless they could take a photo of my ID but it's against federal law to photocopy military ID. I stated this and also quoted the law to them and they ended up calling the manager out who simply explained the state law as if that's more important. I told them my brother (who was meeting us there I just decided to ride with my dad and step mom instead) would be arriving soon and he would have my other IDs that they could take pictures of but they could at least verify that I was of age using my military ID so we could be seated and I could bring them a different ID when my brother arrived. They continued to argue with me that they couldn't let me in the establishment without taking a photo ID and insisted that I sit in the foyer which was a) humiliating and b) asinine. I'd been to over 6 other establishments that sold alcohol in the state of Utah throughout my trip and not a single one of them tried to take a photo of my ID to follow this supposed state law that they couldn't even quote to me. I've attached a photo (to this review) of the federal law that I was reading to them for reference. On another note, the manager did attempt to compensate us for our frustration by providing my party two desserts which was nice and I respect businesses that acknowledge customer satisfaction as a priority. I've also attached a picture of the pizza I enjoyed which was actually rather delicious and their menu did have a nice variety. I probably would have given this place 4 or 5 stars if they hadn't been so adamant about giving me the only options of breaking federal law or sitting in the foyer waiting for my brother to arrive.

My husband and I were looking for a late night bite on our first night (a Wednesday) when we arrived in Park City. It was our first time in Park City. We found Boneyard Saloon as an option on Yelp. We went to the Saloon part of the restaurant. There are two parts to the restaurant, a saloon (think bar) and a wine dive (think wine cellar vibes). Not sure if this applies to the wine side, but to be seated in the saloon, we had to present our IDs. 21 and older. We were seated right away at a booth in the bar area. It was quite busy. The bar had many TVs, so if you're looking for a place to watch a game this may suit you. Our service wasn't super quick. I do think our waitress could have been quicker with taking our drink and food order. She seemed to be attending to other tables and forgetting about us. If I remember correctly, we had to nab her when she walked by our table to get our food order in. She was almost too quick to walk away. A note on drinks, even though the restaurant serves wine they don't have a sweet white or red available. At least during our trip. Odd, and slightly disappointing. Instead, I ordered Something about Rosemary - it was okay. When we did put in our food order, it was brought out quick and still warm. In addition to not seeing our waitress enough, we weren't brought any water until the end of the meal...and we had to ask for it...three times. We ordered an Amish Friendship Pretzel, the Berry Berry Salad and Jambalaya. The pretzel was okay, but could have been softer. The salad and jambalaya were very good. The jambalaya had some kick to it, but I normally don't like spicy and I had more than a few bites of it without searching for the nearest water fountain. We paid right around $70.

We just visited for the first time, and were intrigued by the 2 choices of settings, Boneyard Saloon or Wine Dive. We chose the Wine Dive, simply because there was no wait to be seated. As it was explained to us, both sides have the same menu and everything, just different vibes. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, our server, Alyson was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. All the other employees we interacted with had equally positive attitudes. I ordered the French Pear Spritz, it was light and refreshing. Not too sweet, and perfect with a squeeze of lime. My boyfriend ordered the Boneyard Bulldog, which was a sweet creamy combo of Coca-Cola, coffee, kahlua, vodka & half and half. We split a Amish Friendship Pretzel for our appetizer after seeing so many pictures of it on other reviews, and it did not disappoint. It was soft and salty, and both the cheese and honey mustard that came with it for dips were really yummy, (I even ended up keeping them close by to dip my house fries in with my meal) For our meals my boyfriend got the Bacon Caprese pizza, and he really liked it. He was ordered it wouldn't be filling enough but he ended up bringing two pieces home in a box. I got the Classic Sandwich, and wow! The chicken was perfectly cooked and really juicy. The thick pieces of fresh avocado were delicious. The house fries were more crispy than my typical preference but they had really nice flavor and I really enjoyed them when dipped as mentioned above. Overall, we had a really great experience and will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Entertaining the restaurant we were greeted well, with a smile and welcome. We were told it was open seating. We walked into the bar lounge restaurant area.

We head to the bar.and sat to the left by the main well.

The first drink was easy to order but we noticed the table touch of our female bartender was spars if. We had to wave, which is usually a no no and not kind, as she stood around but mainly looked at the bar, to get our food order in.

It was empty on a Wednesday evening and she didn’t seem occupied but she was not attentive. we waited and even looked all over for our bartender a few times but just moved on from the second fry we wanted and another wine.

Blond with a east European or Russian accent.

She was nice and when she made contact she came off as caring, despite not being fully present.

once we got home my boyfriend told me why he was not with us when we walked out.

I know he was late to dinner but it was clear we were all together. When we walked out he was accused of walking out on his check. Our close pal was buying him dinner for a thank you before she heads home, from her week in PC. I thought everything was settled up and we walked out. the bartender was told to add the meals to my pals check, I heard her say it.

But he was still stopped and asked where he was going. He was told he can’t walk out on the check and he needs to pay for his food. He said he thought his food was taken care of. He was told it wasn’t. It was his mistake for not coming to the lobby to tell us what was going on but I think he was embarrasse. He paid but again, it was a misunderstanding and he was treated like he was dining and dashing. The truth is we thought Mel was charged for the meals.

It was Not a good experience: but the food is delicious.

from the delay in getting food and regular service taken care of, waiting to find out bartender aka bar server to get our check, she didn’t check in to see how we were doing and if we wanted another drink, but the time she came over we just planned to go home to snack and have more drinks.

I suggest training her, and in the case she can’t be fully present for bar customers to let them know if she needs to go in the back for something or take a break. And if a person thought they paid, show them the bill and apologize and let them know you made a mistake and intend to charge him when he assumed it was...

My honey and I headed to Saratoga springs for Memorial Day weekend. He lived there for awhile while attending NPTU and wanted to show me around the area. We have a 4 pound poodle and wanted a place with a central location that was pet friendly. I had never stayed at a Lark property before and was excited to see what they have to offer as I’m familiar with their Portsmouth property. Upon entering the lobby to check in I was loudly told by the man at reception that no dogs were allowed and to take him outside. I was honestly taken off guard and embarrassed by it. There was no signage on the door indicating that dogs were not allowed in the reception area. I was carrying him in my arms. It was raining outside but I took Buster out while my honey checked in. I am wondering what would have happened if I came to check in alone and how I would be expected to do so with my dog in tow. I worked in hotels for years and would never loudly put a guest in that situation. When we got the keys to the room, it was clean minus an obvious hair in the sink. The room had your basic hotel amenities, mini fridge, some cups, bottle opener. The bathrobes are a nice touch. There were no pens left in the room but there was a small notepad, which I found odd. I had to use eyeliner to leave a note for housekeeping. The location of this property is definitely central and it was easy for us to walk anywhere downtown. I would recommend that there be some enforcement on parking in the lot as well. I saw several people leaving restaurants who had parked in the lot meant for guests. No vehicle information was taken at check in. We had to park in the garage one night due to no parking in the lot. When I voiced my concern over our check in experience upon check out, the woman at reception didn’t even offer an apology. Overall it was a decent room for a quick trip, but I’m not sure I would stay there again or recommend...
