I rented a truck with U-Haul and and was given this location to pick up my 20 foot truck. The man at the front desk called me 5 minutes before I was to arrive to say they had no moving blankets for me (I ordered 12). He had no options for me nor was apologetic. He recommended I go across the street to Home depot to buy moving blankets there; I wasted time going there to find one blanket cost $60. When I returned to the store saying that I couldn't find affordable blankets at Home Depot, he laughed. My entire moving plans changed once I got to Black Diamond; the original plan was changed as he said it would cost me more money so he told me to rent the truck round trip, not one way. With the original reservation with U Haul, they said one way is the most economical. Then the front desk person said "You saved money because I took the blankets off the order." Was he going to charge me for blankets he didn't have to give me? All the while, I had to call U Haul directly, they sent me to another U Haul to get blankets and I paid my movers for 1.5 hours to wait for me at my storage unit because that is how long this entire process held me back. If they had no blankets to make my move with, which were needed for furniture etc, they should have called me a day or more in advance so I could have changed my uhaul site.
