UPDATE Got my photos back and the foundation that was applied wasn't blended properly and you can clearly see the foundation line. There's a huge splotch of it and the line. I just can't. Don't go here guys, seriously.
I had quite an experience at the salon getting my hair and makeup done for my wedding. The appointment was at 11, I showed up at 10:40ish and wasn't seen for my appointment til almost noon. Almost a whole hour after my appointment time. From my understanding they booked another bridal party before me and that one was taking longer than planned. My hair turned out great but my makeup was a whole other situation. The original artist who did my makeup, his name was x, who was not only super slow but he also did such a terrible job that the manager had to come and fix it. My mother who was also there getting her hair and makeup for my wedding done had the same person ,before I did, do her makeup and it was terrible as well and the lady who did her hair fixed it. Now if I had seen her makeup before he started mine I would've never let him touch my face. This whole situation caused my wedding to start over 40 minutes late. I'm still very upset thinking about the things I couldn't get done at the venue and the fact that my wedding started that late. I paid for 7 hours at my venue and wasn't able to enjoy 1 of them due to being late. This whole mess threw everything off schedule for the day and also caused pictures to be cut short due to it got too dark. My maid of honors dress and bride maid dresses were wrinkly due to not having enough time to iron it as my mother was supoosed to do that while I was getting ready. Had no time for anything that was supposed to get done. I'm glad the venue helped out and tried to set things up but it did not turn out the way it was supposed to which I don't blame my venue for, they weren't supposed to help with any of that to begin with. You spend all this time and money for a wedding and for a place that you are spending money at to go and ruin it, now that's a shame. I wouldn't recommend getting any service done here if you have to be somewhere at a certain time. Just trust me and don't....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in on Thursday August 1st around 4:25 pm , No one greeted me ,so I headed back towards the make-up. Made eye contact with 4 different girls working , Not one girl said ā Hi , Anything I can help you with ā I proceed to put $375 of products I wanted ,on my face , but in the 45 minutes I was doing make-up , walking around to find the right colors , not a single one of those employees offered to help , they where actually trying on the products of another brand about 15 feet away from me and watched me but never once asked if I needed help or to color match me or offer skin care tips ..... one employee even tried 3 different lip sticks and checked herself In the mirror right . Next. To . Me ..... I was going to talk to the manger privately but at the register but they had 2 cashiers , 1 who wasnāt able to finish a return without a manger which wasnāt available, and the other was calling another store about a product another customer wanted and 4 people in line waiting .....See I havenāt been out of the house for myself in over 3 months , Iām always doing for others and running a Nonprofit company but today I finally was able to get some extra time and extra money to spend on ME ! Like finally some me time , but I guess customer service and basic employee friendliness has been tossed in the trash .... thanks for reminding me why so many people shop online and put people out of jobs , because you shouldnāt get paid to talk about your personal life and try on lipstick ...with a customer 15 feet away ,who you havenāt even greeted , but the other 2 older women who came in 5 minutes before I was done ...they where greeted and helped pick the right products , I love how you helped them , was their something wrong with my face or skin color ? Or are you always this rude and we just havenāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read more** After reading other reviews this does not seem to be unheard of at this location After a wonderful brunch with my own mom, I took my girls to get a gift basket for their mom (My wife), who is a nurse and working all day today on this Mother's Day. We were asked several times if "we needed help, which was nice by idea, but did seem a little more than usual. I noticed the staff was staying very close to us and talking on their ear pieces but didn't think anything of it. It eventually made sense and clarity was found. After selecting several items and a bag for their mom, we were approached by a team member who said their manager "watched" my straight A's AMAZING daughter put something inside of her skirt waist band. My daughter showed them her waist line and pulled her skirt open to show she had nothing. The manager Karen (appropriately named) told the manager Rachel (according to Rachel) SHE WATCHED HER DO IT. This was a flat out lie and was surely racist as she was the only person of color in the store and we were targeted from the get-go. This was how my daughter felt and what she said. The more I think about it, the angrier I get. We have been very fortunate in life and most likely make more money than these employees will ever see. More importantly, we have integrity. We dont need to steal anything. We can simply buy it. We were unapologetically treated like we were scum and a nusiance without any remorse when proven wrong. We were alienated and emberassed without even so much as an apology. If I had more time to go somewhere else I would have dropped everything right then and there but instead just proceeded to check out and purchase all of the items we had. I EXPECT CORPORATE TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION EXPEDITIOUSLY AND WITH URGENCY. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND...
