Come here to completely waste your time!
The customer service has been atrocious! I've been trying to get in touch with anyone at this location or the Old City location and it's been a complete disaster.
The main point of communication is through email which is just bizarre to me. Anyway, when emailed - it takes SO LONG for a response. Any phone number that I've come across by Googling/etc. either goes to voicemail or comes across as a wrong number. Even in the email responses that I've received, the email signature has a phone number on there but the number connects to no where!
I FINALLY had a chance to actually stop by in person only to find the studio locked! There's a code box that seems to be just decorative, but technically serves to let you in....but does it? You can hear a class going on inside but there is NO ONE tending to the front desk!
I'm also highly confused on their hours. Online (which is how you book classes), there are class times that are available, BUT every other place I look they close prior to some of these classes starting - what is that?!? Of course I could ask all these questions if there was even a minuscule amount of customer service to help air out any of this confusion. Their website is minimal and not informative and I wish they could explain their class packs.
I even tried reaching out to them on other forms of social media but those efforts fell on deaf ears.
Solidcore - get your act in order! What sort of business (if you can call it that) are you running?!? Feeling ignored, frustrated, and could let off some steam by working...
Read moreThis is a great workout for sure. That being said, it is definitely not something that's accessible to all people, despite what is advertised on its website. There is huge variability in coach quality, so definitely go try a few people. My low review is mostly out of how little consideration seems to be given to injury. There definitely is no follow through on any injuries shared ahead of time, but more so than that, there is little/no personalized coaching in a number of positions that could easily result in real injuries when done incorrectly. They also don't build in time for stretching etc which feels a little reckless given the intensity of the workout. Even a cursory few minutes could do a lot to encourage folx to fully cool down/stretch after. The priority is definitely getting a quick turnaround from class to class, which is probably critical to their profit model but bad for...
Read moreI went to the beginner class. The instructor was not very helpful and always seemed to be in too much of a hurry to do anything. I would ask her a question and she'd cut me off mid sentence to have a whole conversation with another student. This instructor also kept on fretting about how there's not enough time to do all of the moves which tells me she was really bad at planning her classes. The moves themselves are definitely quantity over quality; she was more interested in getting through as many exercises as possible rather than actually checking our form and preventing injury. And lord, why is there so much talking? I was the beginner and the instructor was more out of breath than I was! And it wasn't useful or motivating, it was irritating and overwhelming. I think the studio needs to train their instructors better. Also the lack of showers...
