I love it here! Amy is my esthetician and she did a phenomenal job of explaining all things skin care to me at my first visit and she even put together a customized skin care routine based on my concerns/problem areas. I never had a skin care routine, so my skin looked very dull and uneven, hence why I started getting facials. Ever since I started following the step by step routine she gave me Iâve noticed a big difference! My friends have even commented that my skin looks more glass-like, exactly what I wanted. On top of it all, Amy customizes my facials based on what my skin needs at that visit and itâs the most relaxing 30 minutes ever. Iâve always had super acne prone skin, but Amy does a great job of explaining why certain breakouts pop up when they do, so I know what I can do on my end to help minimize/clear them. I signed up for a membership here and could not recommend it enough! I got 20% off products at my first facial, and then I believe itâs 15% off after that. This was huge because skin care is not cheap, but Lordy the discount helped and these products are going to last me a very long time. I even get a guest pass (1x/year I believe) with my membership so I get to bring a bestie which is so fun. Overall, everyone is so friendly, the place is super clean, and everything about the whole process is super...
Read moreThe space is cute and clean. Front desk staff is friendly, esthetician was knowledgeable and great at explaining what she was doing. This is a good basic facial for someone looking to get in and out with limited time. No complaints there. If youâve been to HayDay, itâs the same concept.
The only thing I didnât like was the fact that I wish I had more extractions and cleaning the skin, and I donât know if the moisturizer or sunscreen used at the end was a tinted version? I looked in the mirror and thought âdo I look like this? Maybe itâs just the facial and red light therapy.â Only after I cleansed my face at night, did I notice the color off my face and on the towel. (I donât wear foundation). While the esthetician did ask if I had any questions, I feel like they should tell you ahead of time if it is a tinted moisturizer or sunscreen.
While the space is private, you can hear things around you. The music playing was ok, but the news in the background was distracting if youâre looking to have a relaxing experience.
Overall, itâs a nice introductory facial for someone starting out with facials, but if youâre looking for something more - in terms of a facial with noticeable results, Iâd probably...
Read moreI recommend this place (which is part of a chain) if you are skincare-conscious and seek frugal no-frills facials on the go. It's a clever concept for an establishment and it's not like a spa; it's got normal lights and you keep your clothes on and there are very small treatment areas only with curtains so only some privacy. First they have you wash your face at the sink then you get settled. They analyze your skin to determine the most productive treatment; for me it was some kind of peel (I forget the name). There's no steam and no massage because its meant to be like an "express" facial over in 30 minutes. If you get extractions they use a cavitation device which is more comfortable than conventional tools but it still can be a bit unpleasant on the nose. They also discuss how to improve your skincare regimen but point out its ultimately your choice. You can get a membership with one $60 session a month valid at any location. All in all, it's not like a spa facial for real pampering, but more for the skin health aspect. Which is not to say my face doesn't feel great as I write this. It was Lauren who treated me; I like...
