The flowers are pretty, the service was terrible. After standing in what we thought was the line- like idiots- it turned out that the cashier (who was in the middle of eating at the register) was actually talking to a friend who blocked her view of “the line” (me and husband). I asked about purchasing stems and she told me to pick out what I wanted. I made sure to point to a specific area of the store with the widest selection of flowers and asked if I could choose from there too, and was given an affirmative answer. I then went over to that section with my husband, picked the ones I wanted, my husband brought them to the cashier (who was still talking to said friend) and she told him that they couldn’t sell them to us because the ones we chose were from bunches. She strongly denied giving us permission to pull from those flowers, and her colleague, who came over and finished our transaction, proceeded to tell me what it was I “actually asked” and told us that the cashier initially explained which section to pick stems from when she did not. Furthermore, the section for picking stems is in front of the register. I would imagine that if a customer asked for stems and then moved to the bunches section of the store, someone would go over and point them in the right direction. I guess the convo with the friend was more interesting. My husband and I as Black people face terrible customer service all the time. And, it was my birthday. They were quick to call this a “misunderstanding” and weren’t apologetic AT ALL. That would’ve been appreciated. A simple apology and accountability for the “misunderstanding” they could’ve prevented with more attentiveness and care. They spoke to us as if WE were them problem. We called in shortly after leaving and asked about an email and manager’s name that we could contact, and we were given the store’s general email and told they “couldn’t give out employee or manager information.” So, instead of writing an email to the general store for fear of these two employees deleting it, I’m sharing our experience here. Also looks like it’s not the first review about inattentive device. Happy...

Read moreEEK! I am SO disappointed in the $75 bouquet I purchased for my wife from my son on Valentines day. the flowers were DEAD within 24 hours. BUYER BEWARE! I cut the ends and put the flowers in water immediately. this is not our first flower rodeo! I called in and asked what could be done and they person who answered the phone would not only let me NOT speak to a manager but said that the flowers were "out fo water" for to long. MIND YOU, i live in the city and i traveled by car home immediately. 2.1 miles away. If you are looking for a good florist, this is NOT the one. Old flowers and poor customer service... a perfect...
