I have been here at least 5 times in the last 2 years. Always a good experience. There are other locations but this is near me and about an hour away. I never had to return anything except for today since the sizing was not ideal and I forgot to return it sooner. 3 items worth $50 and their return policy is within 28 days which I was not aware of. I was late by ONE DAY. I drove an Hour with traffic only to return. And since I was there I purchased $150 worth of stuff. The person in the register was a guy and he informed me of their policy nicely while this other girl who had no name tag on or any business kept talking over him. I asked to speak to manager. And I overheard the employees saying if it’s one of the other manager he might allow it and if it’s another he won’t. One of the managers came and he took 45 seconds and declined. I said okay cause it didn’t seem like he cared and proceeded with checkout. I realized they mentioned another manager and a possibility of him/her allowing it since it’s only one day late. So I asked the guy that was checking me out. As he was about to call another different manager that lady gets involved yet again. Gets loud and says I’m making it complicated. I was calm and nice the entire time. I was late by one day, it’s not that serious. Primark receipt clearly states customer satisfaction etc.. my return or exchange was only worth $50 but that lady without a badge had serious attitude problem and no professionalism. I paid for them and went to go try them on and they were way too small despite the measurements that are on the packaging so I asked the fitting room attendant if I try new ones on and she said yes then I went to go get the new ones to try on to see if they would fit then take downstairs to exchange at the register, then as I walk by her to the fitting room to try the new ones on she said aggressively, "what are you doing?!" Then I told her I'm trying on the new ones then she said I have to go downstairs to exchange them then try them on and I got upset back saying, "that's not what you said the first time" then I tossed the new thermals into the wooden cubby where you would put clothes you don't want and don't fit meanwhile she decided to be ignorant and lie on her radio saying I threw it at her which is highly unprofessional to do so then her other coworkers ganged up on me said the merchandise I paid for with my receipt is stolen after showing then they took the receipt and didn't give it back to me and said I couldn't leave with the merchandise without a receipt then I asked for it back then poked around getting it back to me knowing I had to go places so I ended up having to leave the merchandise there because they refused to give me the receipt. While I understand their return policy regarding lingerie (NOW that i know- amd it makes sense i am noy denying it), I ASKED the cashier about their return policy before paying. Again! First time here. She told me that I had 30 days to return them and that all I needed was a receipt. And I told her that the reason is that I did not have tome to try anything but would look at them at the hotel. She acquiesced and charged me and we moved on. So here I am with a huge piece (L) that I can do nothing without (pricey too). Their sizes are not the typical one you would find in the States. Amd while they have multiple different size on them to help, they are not consistent I have found. Bottom line, as a customer, I ended up paying for something their employee told me wrong. I even told him he could check the information. Anyways, ..... these situations are when you consider bending the rules.
