My fiancĂ© and i stopped in here because he wanted a pair of wireless gaming headphones. 3 people behind the counter talking amongst themselves about a video game, a handful of people in the store. We asked if they had any wireless headphones since we only saw wired ones and so we asked an employee who then decided to ask the girl behind the counter who rudely said âuhh yeah, up thereâ ( behind the counter ) which we didnât initially see since the headphones are in a different spot when you walk in. My fiancĂ© proceeded to ask a few questions or try to about the different ones while the workers continued their own conversation about whatever game, and sighed while having to intervene to help us. Eventually my fiancĂ© picked a pair out and the one employee showed us the box but wouldnât let my fiancĂ© physically look at the box because they claimed to have just been robbed..meanwhile Iâm assuming an employees backpack was out? Opened and longboard right to the side of the register.. when he decided on a pair since we couldnât look at the box he asked the girl working how to connect them and she said read the back of the box rudely as she rung us up. They were out of the headsets and the employee told him that there would be a shipment of headsets the next day and he would set the game aside for him until tomorrow. We came back the next day around the same time and a different employee was behind the desk gossiping with another mall worker. When they were done 5 minutes later and she finally left we told the employee at the desk that we were there to pick up a copy of Wildhearts and a new headset. The employee stated that his manager had reserved the last copy and she was coming to pick it up. He had no concern about the previous days situation. It seems that when the stock gets low they hoodwink customers with false promises so they can reserve the sought after items themselves. I don't know why we wonder why physical locations go out of business. Just shop online folks, it's not worth the hassle or the membership they try to sell you.    Read moreWhen I was in the store and Brooke helped me she was great. Went back for help with an issue and was helped by an Asian girl who was unbelievably rude to me. She cut me off when I tried to explain my issue, she refused to help me, she told me Iâm just out $50 because a gift card I bought there did not work. She even cut off the other employee who tried to help me. Rudest service I e ever received. She treated me like I wasnât even worthy of talking to her. Iâve legitimately never been so insulted before. This employee was so miserable. Even the other employee looked uncomfortable. Will probably never return to this location now. Tried to call and talk to Brooke but they never answer the phone. GameStop customer service will not answer or call me back either.
