I have been debating since last Wednesday evening whether or not to leave my review....especially after reading all the good reviews and my heart making me feel bad...but, every morning since last Wednesday, my hair has brought me to tears. For as far back as I can remember this is the worst chopped hair cut I have Ever had. First I am going to say I am not used to walking into a salon with one employee, not having my hair shampooed before my hair cut and not blow dried. I went in after I was done work, my hair was shoulder length back in a clip. She sprayed it with water lightly and started cutting away, using a razor to cut my hair a lot of the time, which was also new to me. Anyway, bottom line, my hair is frizzer than it ever was, completely uneven. Have to wear it frizzy curly 99% of the time because wearing it straight it shows how badly cut and uneven it is...I am seriously considering shaving my head at this point!! She RUINED the style I fell in love with almost 2 years ago and have had ever since....until last Wednesday. I am beyond upset and tired of dreading my mornings because I have to figure out what the hell I can do with what she left me with. I had an appointment at 5pm, I felt like she definitely rushed because she had 2 other walk-ins come in as soon as I sat in the chair and also a call from someone who wanted to get in then also. I feel like she rushed because she has no help and was busy. I WILL NEVER EVER go back nor will I recommend this place. I only went for convenience since it is right around the...

So I couldn't get in to see my normal person and this place has great reviews and is near where I live so although I dislike change and I can be a little picky about my hair I gave it a try. The place is small and everyone is crowded which is uncomfortable and the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. I described how I want it cut and I even had past pics of to show her (Mira) what I wanted. She was cutting it and all seemed well until she got to the top. She criticized how my regular person cut it and told me she would do it better. I emphasized that I liked the way it was previously cut and wanted something similar and repeated what I wanted. She ignored me and cut it the way she wanted which coincidentally looked like the guy who got his cut right before me (and looked hideous). I guess it's on me for not leaving when I saw the previous guys haircut but I just figured she cut his hair to his preference and he had bad taste. The cut I got is technically not a horrible haircut except it was not what I explained (and showed) that I wanted. Now I will have to try to get this cut fixed. Will definitely not go back. This place might be great for kids but not so much for adults who want a haircut done the way they asked for in a nice...

I have been getting my haircut from Luiza for years, even before she opened this location. Over the years, I've watched her develop a long list of dedicated clients (men, women, and children included) who won't let anyone else cut their hair. Once you meet her, you feel like she is someone you've always known. She gets to know each of her customers personally and is always professional and courteous. I've had difficulty in the past with hairdressers not knowing how to layer my hair, but she knows exactly what to do with my difficult-to-manage curly/wavy hair. The quality of her haircuts honestly far exceeds the low prices she is charging. The location is an added bonus, which is clean, bright, and welcoming, just like Luiza.
