Me and my friends were on vacation, Spending time here for the rod run event 9/13/24-9/14/24 and exploring the area doing things that we had not done the previous visit. My friends car had a power steering line blow off and take the power steering pump with it. O'Reilly had the part on hand and I was planning to purchase it and swap it around the side of their building out of the way, which there were 6 other vehicles on the lot at the time, 4 of which were working on their vehicles in front of the store. I had already had already crawled under the car and seen the issue when it happened and seen the pump leaking, I am a Chevy Technician and it was a 2016 Traverse that requires the engine to be lowered to change the pump I spent $150 that night, I purchased and a jack to repair a split line, repaired it and realized there was another leak from the pump after. I had no choice but to wait to come back in the morning. I came back at 11 AM I was there trying to fix the vehicle to drive 5 hours back home. I came back to the store and was met with some of the rudest comments and conversation I have had from a STORE MANAGER who was there the night before. He told me that I could not fix the car the night before that I needed to take it to a shop he was trying to talk me into taking it to, to have it fixed, mind you, I had just spent $150 there, plus was planning to buy another large jack power, steering pump and pully puller tool if needed to do the job, there were others in the lot working on their vehicles as it was rod run, and were there before I got there and after I left, I was also told "I had better not be planning on returning the jack because they were non-refundable even if not used" that they "Would not refund anything I purchased if it was incorrect".. again I do this for a living and can use the jacks and tools later. The store manager told me to pack my vehicle up and Leave their lot if I was going to work on it, I went to autozone next door talked to them about buying a pump, moved the car to the lot across the 4 lane went to autozones hub store across town to get a power steering pump, brought it back removed and installed it had it back up and running in a total of 56 minutes when I had the part. I Would NEVER write a review like this But in this case THIS NEEDS TO BE SEEN BY THEIR DISTRICT MANAGER because it was an emergency I would have expected some compassion but I guess not. I worked in a parts store for 5 years and not once was I that rude to a customer. cussing and telling to get the "f"...
Read moreOn our first day of vacation our truck had engine troubles. Went into OâReillys to have them scan to see what was wrong. Turned out to be two engine cylinders misfiring. A couple of hundred dollars and a hour of labor in the parking lot, we were up and runningâŚwe thought. Day three, it happened again. Back to OâReillys we went. One of the parts went bad. The young man behind the counter said he could diagnose the problem and put my truck into Limp Mode because he didnât know what he was doing. After doing this, he upsold me on a replacement, then refused to re-scan the OBDII when it happened again. Day four, ended up renting a car and taking our truck to Firestone where they found that the part that the young man upsold me didnât have all the parts to work. Needless to say, Iâm $700 deep in repairs, rental car and parts. Went back in for a refund on the bad parts and the guys in there wouldnât even look me in the eye. Service sucks in Pigeon Forge, TN. Note: Always buy parts with âLifetime Warrantyâ
Advance Auto Parts and Firestone were the best to help us. Thereâs a good reason the parking lot at...
Read moreThis O'Reillys saved us. We had to buy an alternator, they had one left in stock. My husband had to put it on himself because we were from out of town and didn't know anyone. Their employee, Joshua was a tremendous help to my husband! He went out of his way to help him. Came out in the heat to help him take out and put in the alternator. We had our 2 children with us and if he didn't help my husband we would have been there all day. This man didn't have to come out but he did and to me that is amazing. He deserves a raise. I know that may be extreme but he showed such professionalism and excellent customer service in our darkest time of need.i seriously can't say enough good things about this man. He was a true southern man to help someone in their time of need. As a result of this man's actions we will be O'Reilly shoppers for life. They will get all...
