Kohl's — Local services in Plainfield

Really bad experience here. The store was an absolute mess. Clothes cluttered everywhere in incorrect spots. Pull prices items mixed with sale items, or with no tag altogether. The cashier that greeted and ultimately checked us out was lovely. It’s the interaction that I had with the manager, Jessica (reddish shoulder length) hair that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Your self-checkout card reader was down and not working with Apple Pay. I asked for help, and when it wouldn’t work still, she verbally assumed I had no money to pay for my items. And in front of other customers. Telling me I don’t have enough funds for clothes? In my face? Unacceptable. Never have I felt so humiliated, disregarded, disrespected, and possibly racially profiled in my life! And she’s a manager? That’s in poor taste of the store and of Kohl’s in general. It was in fact your card readers that didn’t work. If I didn’t need this jeans asap for a trip tomorrow, I would have left the store with nothing because why would I shop at a place that allows its employees to disrespect customers. I can tell you this though, it will be a while before I return to a Kohl’s store, and I won’t be back to the one in Plainfield again. Absolutely ridiculous. So disappointed.

I had such a fun time shopping on my birthday. This is one of the outfits I got. I’ve also got so much more. I love it. I’ve got like almost $200 to spend left and a credit card so I’ll be going shopping again soon because I have so much Kohl’s cash as well as a gift card from there. I can’t wait to show you guys everything I’ve got. I’m about to go shopping again yeah because I’m gonna go finish my Christmas shopping except for this Christmas shopping is for me for my home. My almost 30 year old daughter with 3 young children just left your store in tears. She had the most rude and mean cashier. My daughter looks very young and the much older cashier kept rolling her eyes at my daughter and her children. When my daughter was walking away she heard the customer behind her ( who was also much older) say WOW by the fact my daughter has 3 young children and the cashier had the nerve to say irresponsible is more like it. My daughter is very responsible and has 3 children because her and her husband wanted children and wanted them close in age. The only irresponsible person here seems to be the cashier who assumed because my daughter looks very young that she is. I am disgusted that someone could be so mean and so ugly to a mother with children. These children are VERY well take care of with good manners. Perhaps this cashier needs more training.
