Long reviewThis is not my first time coming to this facility but this is my first time leaving a review. Today I brought my daughter in to get a TB placement because she needed it before going to college. The young lady was nice and help at the counter like always. Usually when we go they are pretty pleasant but, unfortunately the MA that assisted my daughter was so condescending and rude. Her name was something like Sakeah. So this my daughter's first time getting this done and she wasn't aware that it was a regular shot. So I explained it to her prior to because I work in the medical field and I've placed these before. So as we go back Sakeah or whatever her name is called her back and didn't have her sit she had her standing. She proceeded to grab her arm, cleans it and grabs the needle. No instructions, no details on what she is doing or going to do. So I told her can you please explain to her what you are doing. She looked at me irritated and looked at her and asked, " You don't know what you getting?" Now this pissed me off. She isn't stupid. It's her job to make the patient aware of what is going on. So, I explained that to her and she looked even more annoyed. So, then she says, "oil, perfumes, lotions, fragrances" so my daughter asked, " Do I have that on now?" She says with an attitude, "What!? I'm explaining it to you because your MOM wanted me to EXXPLLAAIINN it to you." Now it took everything in me to not go off on this piece of work. I work in the medical field so I understand you can have bad days, but you have no right to get rude with someone who didn't give you a hard time. If you don't like your job, then Quit. No one asked you to do this job. Told the front desk and she said that she always gets complaints. Why do they have someone like that dealing with sick people or people in general? God saved her today I have to take my daughter back to have it read, she better hope God save her then. I let her slide once you won't get a second time to be rude to me...
Read moreMy visit was urgent due to me finding out I was exposed to COVID so I originally called the facility in Savannah who were booked so they scheduled me for the Pooler, Ga. office. My appt was 2:30 abs I arrived to the facility an hour early and checked in more than 30 minutes before my time. I understand there’s no getting in and getting out and being seen at the exact appt time but no one informed me there was a almost 3 hour wait to be seen. As other customers both walk-in and appt came in I overheard the wait time and asking if coming in the next day or so. I was informed on the phone call Rapid test were done but once I got there I overheard yet again they only had the Rapid Antigen test not the Rapid PCR. This was 2 minutes before being called and almost 3 hours of waiting. The food that I ordered 1 hour in to be picked up 45 minutes later was cold one I got it because it was over an hour before I was able to pick it up. Once in the room I was told my vitals were going to be checked but she walked out the room only to return 5 minutes later to do just that. The facility were nice but the wait was awful and the communication unless you walked to the desk to ask questions!!!! The wait time portal was incorrect and not accurate on the wait times and place in line to be called to the back. Towards the end I was told they started off short handed abs wasn’t able to catch up from that but that wasn’t communicated to me until I was in the room, again almost 3 hours later. I have patience but this was way way way to long...
Read moreI was reading the other reviews and find them hard to believe. Of course, I am from the MD/DC/VA area so whenever I went anywhere for any medical care, including the hospital, I always expected a lot of people, a long wait, and whatever frustration that comes with it. I went into the Urgent Care on Saturday morning around 11:30. Terri greeted me, handled her business by having me to sign in and fill out papers, etc. She was just doing her job and she was nice about it. I sat for approx. 45-50 minutes....no problem.....I had expected that....if I had wanted a quick in and quick out, I could have gone to the Urgent Care across the street where the Sam Club is located....of course, there was no one there.....they don't take insurance.....Okay, back to my story.....I was called back at what seemed to be an appropriate time and from there everything moved as would be expected. Nurse, Fatima was caring and did a great job of being there for me and I thought Dr. Todd (not sure of his last name) was great as well. Now like I said, if you've ever had to go to a health center in a busy city like the DC area, you can appreciate this type of visit. And the pharmacy was convenient as well. I These twenty four hour places take some of the relief off of Emergency Rooms and I'm glad I went to this one. I feel bad for the people who had a...
