Lively Olive Tasting Bar — Local services in Port Townsend

Super rude management. Care more about money than their customers. There are several stores around Washington that are independent, but all use the same company and supplies, but have their own branded bottles, but otherwise the bottles, oils, a d vinegars are identical.

I've been getting oils and vinegars from one of these whenever I'm in an area with one for several years now. I was in the area and stopped by this one with my bottles in hand and she said that I had to buy their bottles because, "We want to get our branding out there" .

So, youre making me pay more so you get free addvertising? Plus, I have to let perfectly good bottles go to waste? Not cool..

I can understand not accepting random bottles that they don't know the size, but they know damned well these are the exact same bottles and she just wants to make more money instead of putting the customers first.

I just moved to the area and she ruined a repeat customer who loves the products with her money grubbing.

She even said that she knows it makes the customers annoyed, but that's their policy and they are sticking to it regardless of whether it makes the customer happy or not.

I walked out..I'll go to Queen Anne Olive Oils and give them my business instead. They have all the identical products. Please do the same if you like their products but regularly are...

Lively Olive Tasting Bar store is one of my favorite retail shops in Port Townsend. A definite must-see for anyone! And one of the few stores we always end up purchasing from, some of our standards, butter flavored olive oil, black and white truffle olive oil, and a few amazing delicious vinegars.

Lively Olive Tasting Bar (tastings are on hold for now) is not only a gourmet and exotic variety of different flavored Olive Oils, but this store offers some excellent flavored vinegars as well. I can't leave out the fact that I've seen olives, sauces, spreads, a variety of pastas, and gift packs of sample-size bottles of the olive oils.

Pre-Covid, you were able to try any of the olive oils and vinegars to your heart's desire; I think and hope they will eventually bring this back, this was the perfect selling technique, and it worked its magic on us many times =D

Lively Olive has always remained clean, organized, and customer-friendly! Lively Olive will also ship; this was perfect for us during Covid shut down, fast, and packaged very well!
