After posting the review below I was contacted by Jane from Baikalla who gets an A+ when it comes to customer service. She made sure to contact customs and inquire about why the fees to import my necklace into Canada was so expensive. Long story short, Jane refunded me the over charge as their policy states that they cover certain fees. I was not expecting this at all, Jane went above and beyond to make sure I was left feeling great. She spent weeks following my case and I can't thank her enough! In terms of the necklace itself, after weeks of wearing it I have been getting so many compliments and I am actually very happy with the product! Thanks again Jane and Baikalla jewelry for your amazing and unique jewelry as well as your A+++ customer service! I will be ordering from you guys again soon! :)
"I decided to order and ship a white jade bamboo necklace with 24k detail and a 18k gold wheat chain, because the pictures looked amazing. I spoke to one of the salespersons in the online chat to ensure I was getting what I wanted. I asked if there was a lobster clasp on the chain and I was told that there was, I was also told that the chain was going to have more gram weight than it actually did. When I received my necklace I noticed that the chain was thinner than expected and that it had a spring clasp NOT a lobster clasp like I was told. The pendant also had some damage on the bezel, it was as though some of the gold was shaved off. Overall I was not 100% happy with the purchase. A salesperson also told me that I would not have to pay duties on the item however low and behold I had to pay $150 to have my package released from Canadian customs for a $500 necklace. I think Baikalla needs to improve upon their product descriptions so that they are not falsely advertising things or promising things to their customers that are inaccurate. For them to be 100% successful at online jewellery sales they need to make sure the pictures they take show the actual size because I was under the impression my pendant was going to be larger than it was and they also need to make their product descriptions more accurate so not to mislead...
Read moreAwful, awful experience.. I bought a wedding ring for my husband, arrived in good time and looked lovely, but within just a few days the gold plaiting started to come off and then the ring itself started to bend and warp.
I contacted the customer service team and was told it was my fault, that my husband was using harsh chemicals on his hands and that itâs only gold plated so this is something that just happens..
I requested a refund which the seller agreed to. I paid through PayPal so for more security I opened a case to have a record of the conversation between me and the seller.. the refund was supposedly sent and I just had to wait for it to clear.. quite a bit of time had gone by and you only have a certain amount of time before a PayPal case closes so I reached out and the seller said it was pending. Then what they did was waited until the case closed to say the refund had actually failed, unbeknownst to me this had actually happened within the timeframe of the case being open until they send a screenshot of it saying failed and I saw the date, they probably waited to tell me as they knew that once the case closed I had no power to take it any further.. after this they refused to refund me and just ignored me
I managed to get a response from them after a long while, they just kept saying theyâd refunded me, sent dodgy screenshots of the ârefundâ, told me to go to PayPal or my bank, they blamed the bank for not processing the refund.. it was ridiculous
There is so much more to my experience but to explain it would probably take me over hour to write out. I appreciate lots of people have had a positive experience from this seller which is actually why I purchased the ring but now I wish Iâd never even found the website
Iâd highly recommend going elsewhere because if anything goes wrong, youâll...
Read moreOk where do I start? I have been wanting to purchase grade A Jade for a while now and have been doing research for the past 6 months on whatâs real and fake. I am from NYC and the amount of fake jade is unbelievable that is circulating in the city. If you want a mediocre jade bangle you will pay around 1,500 to 2,000 for something that is worth about 450 dollars. Also the jewelers I spoke to while I was on the hunt for real jade where extremely rude and was bothered by the fact that I knew what I was talking about and they where not able to lie to me. So after long searching the web I found Baikalla Jewelry Yay!!! At first I was skeptical because they are located in Oregon but after talking to Jane and Jackson they are professional, transparent and stand by there guarantee. Jane has been in the jade business for 30 years. There customer service is exceptional and they are very honest and reliable and very responsive as well. Thatâs a five star for sure!!! There Jade is beautiful and the prices are reasonable and they have higher end jewelry as well. They also have GIA available which was a plus for me. I received my package today and how beautiful are the necklaceâs. They also sent me two pairs of fresh water pearl earrings as a gift. Thank you Baikalla Jewelry!!! I highly recommend Biakalla Jewelry if your looking for real jade as well as honest and kind people that stand by...
