My wife and I both got Covid at the same time. It's our first time after 4 years of being safe and successfully avoiding the disease it got to us.
We both tested positive and our doctor told us to go to the pharmacy to get supplies. As transplants, we dont have anyone who could do this errand for us. We attempted to call to see if there was anything we should do for protocol. The robots made it impossible to talk to a human or get any meaningful answers. We went to the website, there was no indication that they deliver. My symptoms were deteriorating and I was not able to get out of bed and so my wife went to get the supplies that we had been instructed to purchase by our doctor.
When my wife (who was masked, with freshly disinfected hands, and standing behind plexiglass shield) told the pharmacist she had covid and offered to hold items in a way the pharmacist could scan them without touching, the pharmacist blew up on her. They shouted at her for putting them in danger. They laughed at her for not having someone else who could run this errand for her. They yelled she should have called (she tried, cvs phone system is a joke) she should have used the website ( we tried , cvs website is a joke). They attacked her saying they go to great lengths not to get sick (none of them are masked, none of them use the hand sanatizer before or after transactions).
They interact with sick people every day who don't take any of the precautions my wife was taking., she was punished for her honesty and transparency.
My wife, who was going through extreme grief due to a recent death in the family and is worn down by the disease began to cry and the pharmacist and the tech mocked her for it as she walked away.
Again my wife was just doing her best, following her doctors instructions, and trying too keep people safe.
To be treated the way she was is truly shocking. We have no choice in what pharmacy we use, so we will be back. I would hope the pharmacist and tech will reflect on their behavior and attempt to treat people with empathy and basic respect, but I do...
Read moreThis has to be the worst CVS Pharmacy in existence. Does not matter the season, they never answer their phones. Today, I was on for 27 minutes without anyone answering. I drove down to the store and there was no one in front of the pharmacy. You could hear the automated system saying," three Pharmacy calls' however, all of the employees were ignoring it. I was then asked if I could be helped and I asked how long it took to answer the phone and showed them that I was waiting for now over 27 minutes. The response from a nasty male tech. was," we're trying to fill prescriptions and we had a long line." At which point he was reprimanded by the pharmacist. Hire more staff for goodness sake! I strongly suggest going to Stop & Shop or using the local clinic pharmacy. Much more professional and...
Read moreIncompetent. I've been trying to schedule a second dose vaccine appointment for days with this place. No times are ever posted on the site. When I asked the pharmacist, he told me there's only one provider at the clinic, and that 'it's Ptown', as if that was supposed to mean something.
Yes, it's Ptown and it had a super spreader event that attracted the attention of the entire nation, causing seasonal businesses to lose substantial revenue and the town's reputation to be tarnished. Maybe that one provider should prioritize vaccine...
