The smell brought me into this store. Fried dough. But the baklava got me to buy. The Lula's is a whipped creme topping on a pastry. Sadly the whipped topping was tasteless. And the topping doesn't go in all the way... fell flat. Next was the chocolate chip meringue cookies. I only bought one. Is wasn't crazy sugary. But relaxing good. With flavors as it melts in one's mouth. Lastly the baklava was good. Layers among layers of honey supposedly. But not here. Although it was a great try... it was still great to indulge and enjoy. Drink of choice was a Naked Blue Machine drink. Omg so good washing it down. Sadly. The baklava isn't made here. :( The only ding was with a full bearded guy. That failed to use proper hygiene. After biting his thumb nail or digging for gold.... proper hand cleaning is important when serving any type of food. The other 2 employees were awesome and friendly

Friendly service and really good baked products. A must stop in place if you are passing through town and popular location with the locals. My only complaint is I ordered a breakfast sandwich and watched the woman making it handle raw bacon and repeatedly touch every sandwich that she packed with the same hands in plain view. Probably want to stop that as it is a major health code violation you see from the street and inside. Would you put raw bacon in your mouth? Thats what you’re doing if you order a breakfast sandwich from here.

I am absolutely disgusted by how my family and I were treated by the one of the owners. After looking at other reviews, it appears that we are not the only ones who have been a target of the owner’s rage issues. I came in with my mom, daughter, and husband, ordered fried dough, and sat down to eat it. There were chairs up on some of the tables but people were sitting at the other table next to it so we figured maybe they just hadn’t put those down yet (there were no signs or other indication that they were not to be used). As we were finishing our food, the owner came over to us and immediately started loudly yelling at us and berating us because he could not believe we put the chairs down as they were up due to a spill. We quickly apologized and said we did not realize, but he CONTINUED to yell at us and then said ā€œI need you to get out of hereā€. In other words, he kicked out paying customers. He was unapologetic and incredibly rude, and would not stop verbally harassing us to the point that it made my 6 year old daughter really nervous and uncomfortable. I’ve come to Provincetown (including this bakery when it was under previous ownership) since I was a kid and I’ve NEVER been treated this horrendously.

To the owner, as I’m sure you’re reading this- I hope you take time to reevaluate your interactions with others. I will assume you have some personal struggles causing you to lash out because there is no other reason to treat anyone, especially customers, in this manner. A simple ā€œif you could please move due to a spillā€ and we would’ve instantly obliged. There was NO water on the floor (even though you insisted it was a safety issue), NO wet floor sign, and the table was again in use within 10 minutes when we walked by again. But really, none of that even matters and you could’ve handled it respectfully. You have no right to treat my family- especially my child- this way and I will...

Extremely rude staff. I wanted a quick to go order and holding my puppy in my lap as they don’t allow dogs inside. It’s pretty common to be able to get a quick to go order in MA holding a small dog in lap. Multiple staff members clearly saw me as I was patiently waiting in the line for my turn carrying my dog but didn’t say anything until my turn came up and refused to serve me citing ā€˜health concerns’. As I was stepping out of the store figuring out which way to go, one member came again asking me to move out as according to them I was blocking their way when in reality there was no other customer at all. Very rude and unwelcoming in a town where dogs are pampered and loved.

EDIT after owner’s response- standing at the door for 1 second doesn’t call it blocking. You were extremely rude and now after going through reviews from your previous customers it’s clear what you were trying to do. And there is no way that your way of asking was NICE AT ALL! If that’s nice for you then I would highly recommend your team to learn what niceness is. Also It’s easy to love your own dog but being nice towards other’s pet is something else. Again an example of your interpretation of niceness here. Would never recommend your...

First. WE LOVE THE MALASSADAS and drive +100mi at least once a year to have them. HOWEVER, they have implemented a new rule that limits you to purchasing "no more that 6 malassadas at a time per family per day." This is a verbal rule. I truly understand the popularity because they are amazing. I also understand that they want to make sure that others have to opportunity. I feel that this is a fair rule if there is a long line and a high demand. But I was there 45mins before closing, no one was in line, the patrons inside were eating a different pastry and I asked for a dozen. They said "no". I asked if I could by six and my friend could by six because our family is larger than 6. They said no because we saw you come in together. The younger gentle men was brash and condescending and the older gentlemen barked at us like how dare we ask to buy their product. It was also 90F outside and no one else came in to by freshly fried malassadas. I love your product, I wanted to by your product and share it with my family and friends. Great food. TERRIBLE policy. Unfortunate staff. I'll still go but come in disguise a few times unless that is against...
