There are many reasons to book a private charter on the Moment – to socialize with a small group of friends, celebrate a special occasion or maybe enjoy a serene sunset. For me, it was all about the sailing. I grew up around sailboats of all types and sizes, and an opportunity to spend a few hours on sunny, breezy Cape Cod Bay on a well-designed and impeccably maintained Stevens 47 with an experienced skipper was my idea of heaven! In fact, I had such a good time on my first solo outing on the Moment that I ended up going out with friends and family a total of four times in August 2022! While each charter was a bit different, the experience was first rate from start to finish – including a terrific charcuterie plate as part of a four-hour sail to celebrate my birthday. Captain Kendall is a sailor’s sailor – maneuvering from and to a busy dock, hoisting and trimming the sails, and keeping the boat humming along all by herself. She is also a considerate hostess – giving you space and privacy if that’s what you want, but also more than willing to partake in a lively discussion. Had the pleasure to experience Moments for the first time in NYC last autumn. We had such a memorable time that we had to do it again in Provincetown once he arrived for the season. WOW! Just when I thought nothing would be more surprising than seeing the giant buildings of NYC from a sailboat, Captain Chris gave us an entirely different experience and “moment” during our sunset sailing. His passion for sailing and ensuring you have a grand time is beyond comparison to other sailings we’ve done. My fiancé and I wanted to make our Provincetown trip very exciting and see Cape Cod from a different perspective. We had so much fun sailing around the cape and enjoying the views and sun. Chris & Chadwick gave us such great hospitality the entire time. We also did the food platter and it was exceptional!
