Country House — Local services in Put-in-Bay Township

Refused to comply with no tax holiday in Ohio. Was not ok. Everything else on PIB is complying. I would recommend do not go here. She stated " it only applies to school supplies and school clothes. Not baby onesies and stickers." THAT WOULD BE INCORRECT. I have included a pic of the tax holiday rules. Me and my husband have went to this store every year FOR 5 YEARS to purchase multiple items for our annual trip. We will never come here again. She was rude, she was wrong, and NON COMPLIANT with the state wide tax free holiday. She was also snooty when I called her on it. Very DISAPPOINTED. What a great little shop. We found a wonderful planter for our back patio and apparently I forgot one of the pots when I left. The owner actually took the time to bring it to the ferry before we left and communicate with the ferry entrance to keep an eye out for our plates so we could take it with us. We did not ask (or know about this), she just took it upon herself to do this!

Bought a hat there July 20th had the tags still on it and the receipt two ladies would not let me return it and we're very rude so that's their policy I said where is the sign they couldn't even find it at first there's like a 4 by 4 piece of paper on the counter where you would lay your items after purchase I would not advise shopping there one even called me a liar very sad many other stores will give you at least a store credit not this...
