We ate at this eatery yesterday. What a disappointment! Unfortunately I didn't check the Yelp reviews prior to eating here. Almost all the other reviewers said tourist trap, and they're right. $12+ per person is outrageous! There was a sign out front saying "someone on yelp said this was the best Reuben they've ever had." I read all 20 reviews and nowhere did anyone say that. This was all after I trusted that sign an ordered the Reuben. What a mistake that was. I only could eat a little less than half the sandwich. I actually got physically ill from eating it. The waitress was nice but seemingly rushed. She offered to bring me something else. I decided to try a grilled cheese. How can you mess that up? Was I ever wrong. While better than the Reuben, I could only eat three bites as the previous plate was starting to overcome my stomach. The manager came to the table to see the problem, and how rude! I felt like I was being questioned by the police after robbing a bank! She said nobody has ever complained about the Reuben but after reading the reviews, I can't imagine that's true. Worst of all, she was planning on charging me for both meals! She eventually charged me only half price for the second meal. I would NEVER stop here if you have a brain and eyes and can spot another place. We ate at topsy turvy earlier in the day and that was delicious, but that's another review. Overall I highly recommend avoiding hooligans at all costs. Your wallet and stomach...
Read moreOur server was nice and tried as hard as she could for how busy the restaurant was and as many tables as she had. We were described different food when ordering and when the order arrived after approximately 40 minutes of waiting it was not as described. The waitress apologized and immediately admitted it was wrong and grabbed a manager to come speak with us. The manager had a relatively hostile attitude and said the order that was “half” of what we were supposed to be given was all we were going to get. “What would you like me to do about it?!” The order was half as what was expected and we said we’d pay half like the order. He rolled his eyes and said that’s not how this works and I needed to be realistic. We told him they could take the order back as we weren’t paying $14 for 5 boneless wings. He took the plate and sped away and refused to come speak to us again. Again, the waitress tried her hardest but the manager was a real class act a**hole and should figure out something else for his life. I was in a restaurant for 1.5 hours and all I had was a glass of water. Won’t be going back...
Read moreOur experience here was awesome, it was a nice night so we chose to sit on the patio for dinner. I had (if I remember correctly) the black and blue burger which was cooked to perfection, it was served with fries and all the fixins and a Guinness (of course, I mean it was an Irish Pub). My wife got a salad which was very nice however I did give her a hard time about it because again we're at an Irish Pub lol. Our visit was a couple of weeks ago so I don't recall the appetizers we ordered nor the bill amount but I do remember being happy to pay the bill and tip. I wish I could remember our waitresses name as she was so very pleasant and attentive to our service. We were able to have a pleasant conversation with her during our time which was nice. I heard a wise man state once "it's nice to be seen not just viewed" that was our waitress in a nutshell, she wasn't intrusive but when we asked about how things were for her in these crazy times she took the time to give an honest answer. All in all a definite thumbs up and highly recommend place for you and your...
