Worst establishment on the Island.

The owner Bryan is highly unprofessional, condisending, and very rude! We came into get food, our first time there. Cashier takes our order, our money and well..... that's it. When I ask where I pick up the food from the cashier tells me, the window. Failing to mention ANYTHING about their laughable pickup system(if you can even call it a system). As time went by, I went to the same cashier and asked how I was supposed to know when the food was done..he quickly says "oh, with the number on your receipt". So now at least its making a little more sense. Until the numbers on the screen was showing 24, 27, 30......our number is 117. My husband goes up to ask if the cashier had a guess as to how much longer (since our receipt number was so high compared to the screen number) and the cashier immediately hands my husband 3 boxes . The same boxes I saw when i first walked over to ask how we know when the food is done, and of course they had the lids of all the boxes open the entire time. As you can imagine none of the food is hot. This is frustrating to us especially because we are ONLY there to pick up the food. Therefore we are literally just sitting there waiting for the 2 sandwiches and 1 order of French fries (totaling over 35 dollars) Not only is our time being wasted, come to find out the cashier forgot to tell us the number won't appear on the screen the same as the number on our receipt. The cashier also lets us know that our food has just been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes.....
It's sad to me that the owner feels a need to treat customers this way. I get it your busy, tired, maybe even short staffed, but the way that the owner chose to speak and act towards us, the way that he chose to behave in front of his employees........it was unnecessary and did nothing but start a negative tone. It could've been a simple fix. Warm up our things......... but the first thing he tried to do was accuse us of wanting our money back AND free food. Believe it or not some of us believe in solutions to problems and don't just want free stuff. We gladly gave the cold food back(had to come back because he refunded us incorrectly), and took our business to Frostys. The prices are WAY better, the customer service was fantastic......and the food was hot...
Read moreREAD YOUR RECEIPT!!! I didn't know the reputation of Put-In-Bay as a drunken sleazy party town when I went there during the day as a tourist looking at the history of the war of 1812. I found out later when I returned to the mainland, when I told friends that I had been there on a beautiful day. I guess that explains the only one negative, Cameo Pizza. The only places to eat were bars, so I went to the counter and asked if it was OK for my 9 year old nephew to be there. They said yes and we ordered (between the 5 of us) over $75 worth of food. Of course, kids being picky we ordered him 2 items from the child's menu, and 4 complete adult meals, like one would. Whilst waiting for our food, we looked over the receipt and found we were overcharged. I went back and explained the mistake and was met with such push back, it was ridiculous. I had to point out the child with us. 3 TIMES!!! I mean, come on. Open your eyes and ears. Also, when it is CLEARLY your mistake, be nice about it. I swear had I not insisted, they would not have refunded the $8 overcharge. I may be wrong, but I got the impression that they do this kind of stuff on the regular, so READ YOUR RECEIPT! Their adequate food was certainly not worth the extra money and made me really want to ask for the tip we left to be refunded as well. Shame...
Read moreI wish I could comment on the pizza but the service was so horrible we didn't even get to try it! The boy at the counter was so rude. Didn't make eye contact. Didn't even have concern for us as customers. Asked if we "we're going to order or not" and when we tried to make small talk to lighten up his mood he ignored us and moved on to the customer behind us and asked them if they wanted to order or not. I was disgusted by the service. And when we asked for his managers number he said "I am the manager and supervisor. Go ahead and call. Because I will answer". And waved goodbye to us sarcastically as we left the restaurant. I could t believe what was happening. We will never return there! Food service is 50% food quality and 50%...
