After my mother passed away, I inherited several rings and necklaces with many large and beautiful diamonds. Although the stones themselves were stunning, the designs were quite outdated — the kind of style that belonged to a different era. I knew I wouldn’t wear them as they were, but simply keeping them stored away felt like such a waste, especially since they were part of my mother’s legacy.
That’s when I decided to repurpose the diamonds into new, modern jewelry pieces that I could wear and cherish every day. And I’m so glad I did.
From the very first meeting, she took the time to deeply understand not just my design preferences, but also the emotional meaning behind each piece. She listened with so much care and compassion, and then created design proposals that reflected both my taste and the special mother-daughter connection I shared with my mom. One ring, for example, beautifully connects a large and small diamond in an S-shaped curve, symbolizing the parent-child bond. Another turned a collection of diamonds into a timeless eternity band. When I saw the final pieces, I cried. They were not just beautiful — they were meaningful. Wearing them now feels like I carry a piece of my mother with me every day.
The entire process was warm and professional. She provided sketches quickly, communicated with care, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. I was also amazed at how fast everything was completed.
I truly believe that many people, like me, have inherited jewelry from their mothers or grandmothers — pieces full of sentiment, but no longer worn because they don’t match today’s style. But that doesn’t mean they should sit forgotten in a drawer. Jewelry is meant to be worn, loved, and passed down. When you redesign these heirlooms into something you love, they come back to life — and I believe the person who gave them to you would be so happy to see that. I know my mother is smiling in heaven, seeing me wear her diamonds every day with pride and joy.
I still have more pieces, and I can’t wait to work with her again. I highly, highly recommend this experience — it’s not just about making new jewelry, it’s about honoring memories and creating something truly personal...
Read moreLet me tell you, what an absolute lovely experience it was!!! Amanda of Evermore is just as knowledgeable in jewelry as she is personable; she took great care of both my wife (then fiancée) and myself.
We appreciate how Amanda took the time to showcase all the rings, offerings, and additional options from her portfolio with us, answering all of our questions regarding cuts, authenticity, etc., with much more information than we knew we were looking for!
An unparalleled experience than walking into your typical diamond ring shops at the malls, where their objectives are to make quick sales off of us, without caring about our stories and what could be further customized (they are all about what is quick and makes the most profit, understandably so as diamond store sales have sales targets to hit).
I can never forget my wife's adorable face as she saw the ring when I proposed to her — she still raves about it every single day whenever she gets a chance to (OH, and her mom, relatives, and aunts all said "You did great!", though my wife's opinion's the only one I care about!)
Look no further, you will be in real good hands when you reach...
