The UPS Store — Local services in Rolling Hills Estates

On 5/13/25 I arrived at this UPS location right at the end of their posted open hours (6:00 pm). When I parked the door to the store was propped open so I got my package from my car, started towards the door (about 20 feet away), realized I forgot my wallet, so went back to my car to get it and as I was walking back to the store an employee closed the door. When I took the final steps to get to the door and tested it, it was locked. I stood outside for a couple minutes hoping that because I was there so close to closing they still might fit me in. NOBODY in the store even acknowledged I was there, didn’t bother coming over to say “sorry” we can’t assist you, or anything else that would have been good customer relations. I accept that I was there right at closing, and technically didn’t make it in to the store before the door was closed, but to be 3 seconds away from doing so and not even get an “I’m sorry” irritated me. I have been a customer at this UPS store since they opened. Their rating is well deserved. Just compare this UPS store's rating with the ratings of any nearby UPS stores in the southbay. You can't even compare. It all comes down to attitude and customer service. Art, Eric, and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to help. When they are not too busy, I see them helping customers carry out boxes to their cars too (and they do it with a smile). I can't say enough. Good owner, good managers and it all propagates down. They have notary, key copies, fax, emails, paper copies and they even have a decent supplies of stationeries. You can get a lot of stuff done here. You guys...

I’ve been coming here consistently for over two years, and every single employee has always been incredibly helpful and considerate—no matter how complicated my printing requests are. I usually come in to print recital programs, certificates, lamination projects, and more, and the team always goes above and beyond to streamline the process.
