Slow uncaring service. If you aren't Indian and use to their culture, food, and ways I'd avoid but you can see many Indians do eat and like it- I don't get their multi-cusine takeaway model.
As far as it being Romino's Pasta of Italy ha! it looks like an empty airport lounge that sounds & smells like busy downtown Delhi.
Response to owner's reply:
While I don't often eat your food I am at your facility frequently. While you may feel you don't hear from customers, we are your delivery partners and I DO frequently wait - without any pay - for food from your place. You are stealing our time by not managing the arrival delay to coincide with your needed food prep times.
Your front people are often very curt and pre-occupied and only seem too glad to tell us to sit and wait and to get back away from the side of the serving station. I'm not alone in recognizing them as "rude" - read more reviews.
As to accommodations, there is no bathroom, water, or polite conversation while we wait - like many of your finer competitors offer.
I'm not addressing your core take-out Indian customer but many of us when we hear "Rominos Pasta of Italy" of Redmond we anticipate a restaurant with ambiance and service, not to.mention basics like plates and utencils for customers to dine with.
I've spent a lot of hours in small regional airports over the past 40 years and genuinely that is what your facility reminds me of.
You are welcome to contact the local government- along with being able to help you improve your King Co. Health food rating level they have resources to help your restaurant instead of being a take-out kitchen.
Did I mention the 4 businesses in the tiny drive through parking lot which is always a...
Read morei found this to be below average taste wise
starting with the gobi manchurian, the first thing I noticed was there was pretty much no flavor to the fried breading. Normally when you order Gobi Manchurian, you expect a certain spice level, but that was completely not present here. even eating the chilis that came with the dish wasn't spicy in the slightest. additionally, there was essentially no crunchiness to the breading at all as it easily came off. the cauliflower was fine but nothing special. i will say the amount of oil, when combined with the other vegetables, did at least help the taste a bit
secondly, the paneer biryani was about average. again, there was basically no spice to be found in the rice, and there really wasn't that creamy flavor either. however, i did like the fact that there were a lot of paneer pieces, and while they might've been a little hard, they were seasoned well and tasted fine overall. I also did enjoy the vegetables in here
also, one point of advice, the descriptions listed on the menu are a) not appealing and b) not accurate. they just sound weird
what this restaurant did well was provide a significant portion size for something that's not super expensive. i'll say a biryani and manchurian combination can easily feed 3 people - which for a total of around 30 dollars comes to about 10/person, which is a pretty solid portion size this is what helps it from being below average
overall, below average but not the worst given the amount of...
Read moreAfter eating Its Paneer biryani at one of our friend’s place..we thought of ordering the same for our dinner at one of the hectic rainy day. After ordering..we went to pick up (as it was on our way) and by that time we were home it was 10 p.m (when the restaurant was closed) when we realized that they gave us chicken biryani instead of paneer one. We being vegetarian …it was very disappointing…however we had no option and went to return the non veg biryani other day, when the employees were so rude while returning money. When we expressed our displeasure in serving non veg biryani to vegetarians …the manager was so rude in saying..take your money and get off from here..and also used abusive words. In today’s era where customer is the king..I don’t know how they will survive ill treating customers in spite of their mistake. Men a humble request please own your mistakes and be patient in hearing out others. With your this behavior and attitude..don’t spoil the name of Indian community (who are known for hospitality) in this Continent. One thing for sure..me along with my known ones have boycotted you ..not for your mistake but for your attitude...
