I have shopped at Dollar Tree for years. I recently was blessed with my first grandchild. Since I help my daughter with daycare, I needed some place to put my granddaughter's extra clothes I keep at my house. I went to purchase a few little square baskets; not only to put her clothes in, but to organize them as well. After grabbing the baskets, I started to browse through the store. I had also recently purchased my daughter some dishware, place setting for 8, but I always check in that aisle, to see if there is something more I can help her with. From Glad leftover containers to more plastic everyday cups and so on. On this stop, I did not find anything in that aisle I could not live without. Still browsing the store, I found some healthy little snack pouches. My son has recently has weight loss surgery and with his birthday just a day away, I grappled another basket and placed little pouches of really soft assorted jerky, some nut and dried fruit pouches and then lastly, some freeze dried fruit pouches. I was so excited. I had a whole basket filled with healthy options. Dollar Tree may have raised their prices from $1.00 to $1.25, but I am NOT complaining at all. I love shopping here and finding...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was surprised at the rudeness of Mike. I don't know if he is the store manager or just a cashier but he needs help with common courtesy. I was in a line waiting to check out when he opened up another register next to me. He loudly said that he was open and to come over. I waited along with everyone to give someone else a chance to move lines. No one got out of line. He then stated "Don't be shy, come on over" so I walked over to his register and set my 3 items down. He looked at me and said "This is for them" and pointed at the people who came after me. I told him I had been in the line that was behind him. He rudely said again "This is for them." I was shocked that he was so abrupt and uncivil. I went back to my original line along with a woman who had followed me over and was checked out quickly by a much kinder cashier named Matt. If you frequent this location I would suggest avoiding the blowhard named Mike and pick your checkout lane wisely. Unless of course you want to be publicly chastised and humiliated for following...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the worst experience. I made a large purchase of a single item for a charity banquet. I went across the street and found the same item significantly cheaper. When I attempted to make a return, was told refunds are against company policy. So i asked to return and be given a gift card for instore credit. I was told they dont exist. I will need to carry these items around in my car indefinitely and bring a few items in at a time every time I want to make a purchase. I looked on their website and they do have giftcards. Why canāt they be used for store credit? Needless to say I now feel held hostage to make a purchase of something I dont need, in order to not have this stuff sit in my car. I will definitely not shop there in...
