I've been getting my work boots here a couple times a year for over four years and usually the service is very good. I was disappointed today because I couldn't find the style and brand I usually wear so I tried another. The salesperson got the boots from the stockroom and opened the box for me and I tried them on. He did not offer to help me try them or measure my feet, which isn't the experience I've had here before. Usually very helpful. The style didn't fit and I was told to just look around if I could find another pair I wanted to try and he walked away without even offering me suggestions for what I wanted or needed. I picked another pair to try and he brought out the box and set it next to me without even opening it or offering to help and walked away. I had to ask another salesperson, after waiting more than five minutes, to see if they had another pair of the boots I chose because the ones I tried on had been worn and returned---quite obvious from the creases on the toes. There wasn't another pair in the size I needed. Finally the first salesperson stepped in to ring up my purchase and I had to ask him to oil them and get extra laces, which is usually offered to me. I could understand the bad customer service if they had been busy, but at the time there was me and one other customer in the store (who I noticed was getting assistance trying on shoes.) It's unfortunate that one bad experience has me thinking of taking my...
Read moreThe best, weirdest work shoe/boot retailer I have ever been to. First, let me tell you why its the weirdest. I have never gone into a shoe/boot store and been waited on like this before. I was greeted like we have been friends for years, asked what I was looking for, showed me what would work. Then, had me take my shoes off and measured both feet. (never have had that done, ever) I picked a boot out and the employee went and got the boot and got it all laced up and ready to put on me. Yeah, he was putting it on me and lacing and getting it to fit correctly. I didn't touch the boot at all, He did all the work. That was the first time I have experienced that also. I liked the boot but he told me it was such overkill for my job and I respect that he steered me towards another pair. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I keep telling people about my experience and how they need to go and support them and its the only place I will go and buy work boots. Top notch customer service, stand behind the product, life time upkeep of my boots (oil, minor repair and laces!) I highly recommend them for your next work shoe/boot...
Read moreI've only been in this store location twice. Once to purchase some safety shoes for hydraulic aerospace environment. I purchased the set of Reebok athletic looking footwear. The insole seem to last four months. I completely understand that shoes and the components wear out eventually. The issue with this I work four tens and only wear safety gear at work and switch for street shoes before and after. I went in the second time and was advised to purchase fifty dollar insoles. I find that hard to swallow after spending over a hundred dollars on shoes that lasted four months. So for a grand total investment of about a hundred and sixty dollars it "could" fix the issue. But if it was presented threat the shoes were not that great I could have invested into a better product. But yet they dont or wont credit the shoes for a different shoe. But yet my work has a e comers that honors the shoes you purchase for 365 days. I wonder why stores even with great customers service is going out of business. Sad to say but I will not be returning, recommending, and giving my business to this...
