i got my iphone 7 plus screen replaced here and decided to come here because of how highly rated they were. they said it would be about an hour, they never made a call that it was ready so i came back almost two hours later and they said it had been done for a while. this wasn’t really a big deal, but when they gave it to me my phone wasn’t reacting to touch and it wouldn’t let me click certain parts of my screen. i showed the worker and he said that they can put a new screen on super fast, this confused me because they said it takes an hour to fix/replace a screen. supposedly, they changed the screen so it wouldn’t glitch. i found this hard to believe because it took maybe 10 minutes to replace it. right after paying, and walking out, it started glitching AGAIN. after paying over $100, i expect my phone to work correctly. my phone still glitches out, even after restarting it and turning it off and on. at this point, i wish i would’ve never even fixed my screen. it was working better when it was shattered. on the other hand, really kind employee working at the desk. i do wish they would’ve been more thorough while fixing my phone. *edit: I went back a few days after writing this review to see if there was anything that could be done to stop the glitching. After another two hours of fixing the phone, I got my phone and noticed that the glitching was still happening and that my phone was still unresponsive on parts of my screen. When I told the guy, he took it back to the technician and came back soon, telling me that they had broken my phone and there was no way they could fix it and proceeded to give me a refund. So, I did get my $100+ back, but I am left with a broken phone. I would not recommend getting your...
Read moreTL;DR- I get the feeling they're lazy, highly disorganized, or unmotivated.
Brought in my wife's 2013 Macbook to replace the trackpad. We made it clear when we brought the Macbook into the store, that the lower right corner of the trackpad is physically stuck, and demonstrated that not only could it not click, mouse movements were erratic in that section. They quoted us $200, and we were on our way.
After a few days of not getting a phone call, I called them to see what the status was, and they said the technician wasn't clear what the problem was, and asked if we had tried rebooting it. Again, over the phone, I explained the issue with the lower right corner of the trackpad not clicking and erratic mouse movements. It was then communicated to me that the technician understood the problem, and that he would get a new part ordered in the following week.
At the end of the next week, still with no callback, we drove in to see what the status was. They asked if we had tried reinstalling the software to fix the mouse issues. AGAIN, I explained the hardware mouse IS PHYSICALLY STUCK. The technician then came out, and explained that they wouldn't be able to order a part, because of how old the Macbook is. That would have been nice to know when I brought it in on day one.
Never once did I receive a callback from them- I always had to initiate the call. It's clear they never bothered troubleshooting the problem, because I had to explain it to them 2 additional times. They never bothered ordering the part, despite me waiting a week.
I got the feeling these guys are lazy, unmotivated, and disorganized. I'd highly recommend avoiding...
Read moreMy charging port got fried so my husband took the phone in to get fixed. While there my husband saw the waterproof ad, talked to one of the guys there so he decided to buy the waterproof plan. They said my charging port was fine but i needed a battery. They replaced the battery and the phone turned on. After the battery died it wouldn't charge and wouldn't turn on. We took the phone back and they fixed the charging port and now it works good. Since i knew the charging port got fried and you could see the char marks maybe they should have replaced that to begin with. My husband's phone that got "waterproofed" we took tubing with us, in a waterproof bag not knowing that there was a little hole in that bag. there got about a teaspoon of water in the bag before we noticed. The phone wouldn't turn on so we put it in a bag of rice and brought it to the store on Riverdale road Monday August 7th, 2017. We were told that they had to order parts from the layton store and it should be ready the next day late afternoon. Today is Thursdays August 10th, 2017 since they didn't call i called them. Now im told it can't be fixed and we will have to buy a new phone or get a refurbished one from them for $199.00. The waterproofing ad says submersible but it didn't even protect it from light water damage. To me that is false advertising. They gentelman we dropped it back off to Monday explained the waterproofing like a bulletproof vest, that if a bullet hits the vest your still going to get a hurt a little. Yeah well a bullet hit my vest and went straight through killing my phone not...
