Free People — Local services in Riverton

I truly hate writing bad reviews. But, I’ve come here a handful of times. Mostly for returns since I shop online with their wide selection and then just return. Staff experience here has always been dissatisfactory. Recently I returned my online order and the cashier was being very pushy about WHEN I purchased my items. Literally ordered them 3 days prior and paid for expedited shipping. I showed her the bar code for my return AND the date of my order and she just took my phone and started clicking around on my phone trying to find more info on my order (she acted like I was lying about when I purchased?) but all she needed was the barcode! It was beyond odd. Internet was bad so I took a screenshot. Handed her my phone again of the screenshot to scan - she started clicking around AGAIN so now she’s in my photos (since it was a screenshot). I ask for my phone back and she just held it without saying anything. I said “Can I have my phone? I can get the barcode for you.” Finally she gave it back but again - doesn’t say anything to me and acted like I was a huge inconvenience.

Do not click around on peoples phones without permission. If you need something - ask and the customer will get it for you. Don’t go digging. Huge privacy issue.

I really dread coming here. Selection of styles and sizing are very few. Staff (act like they) don’t want you there.

EDIT: I went back for a return and had a completely different experience. The girls on shift were so kind and the selection has gotten way wider. I figured since I shop this brand online all the time I’d finally go to the store in person. The storefront is beautiful, it’s well kept. There isn’t much of a selection in the store which is fine, I’m sure it’s popular. All of the employees on shift except for one were either rude or didn’t give the time of day to help out since they were sitting with other people and talking.
