Long but please read till end!! We had a topper installed on our pickup. It was over 2 months past when they told us it would be finished. Customer service on the phone was less than pleasant. I went into the business to finally drop it off to have the topper installed and sat in the waiting room waiting for my Uber to arrive. While waiting (and it was well known I was in there), the staff took customer phone calls, they were unpleasant to listen to and then after they were off the phone, they bad-talked the people they were just talking to. Do they do this when I call too? I thought it was just me but turns out that’s just the toxic environment and was in shock by their responses Also found major scratch/dents on our truck from install. Our truck isn’t new and it’s a work truck BUT that doesn’t mean you should be scratching it up and not telling us about the damage done. We didn’t even bother to go back and complain about that because we are so over it all. I would never recommend them to anyone and I will drive out of my way to the next business to have a topper installed or ANYTHING that they offer. If you made it this far in the post… click down on Google to the next company and take a hard pass on this one. I leave a ton of positive reviews for businesses that are customer focused and quality focused. This has absolutely none of that. Sorry trucking America but you deserve a 0, hope you decide to change...
Read moreI bought the realtruck hard roll up cover from truckin america and had them install it. First they damaged my truck during the install which they got repaired pretty quick. But the cover got damaged too. When they went to close my tailgate they didn't do it slow to make sure the rails would clear. They must have slamed it close and took a chunk out of the top of the tailgate bending the rails that the cover rides on makeing closeing the cover difficult
When i asked them if they were going to replace the rails they basically gave me the run around for 2 1/2 months, saying " the manufacturer was the one who was taking forever to get back to them. They seemed tk get annoyed when i pressed the issue of getting the rails replaced
After waiting for over 2 months I decided to email the manufacturer my self to try and get rails to do it myself, 3 day later i get a response saying they just need my shipping address and part #. Rails were in hand from the manufacturer within 2 weeks.
Total waiting time for problem to get fixed from truckin america 3 MONTHS
Absolutly rediculous and a horrible experience. I will never buy from them again and I would never reccomend anyone else...
Read moreI needed a cover for my pick up truck. I priced at the dealership- crazy $$$$. Decided to see what the options were here. I was surprised they had 5 different choices in soft covers. Two are made in the Dakotas. This is essential for holding up to the extreme temperatures we get in MN. A reason to NOT but the Texas made product. This store had a ton of things I didn’t need, that could have made my truck better. I was told a price $$, scheduled a day to come in and left. On the day of the appointment they were ready for me when I arrived. Got my truck back immediately and were done much quicker than I anticipated. The work was high quality and I was very pleased. Price was as quoted. It’s a no frills shop. I didn’t have much of a spot to sit. But I wasn’t there long either. I would prefer to pay less without a waiting room than have an expensive TV, coffee, and magazines to read that are of no interest to save $20 -$40. I highly recommend them for most any after additions you might need, I’m guessing they can do it or you...
