Live Oak Plaza West — Local services in Rockport

Lighthouse Liquor This is not your typical neighborhood liquor store. It’s not just one more store from some gigantic faceless corporation. It’s local and the lovely folks who run it are locals. They are friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to chat and remembering me from one visit to the next. As I’m not from this area and only here periodically throughout the year, I really appreciate this level of interaction. The store is full of wonderful and diverse items. The liquor selection is wide and varied. There is also a large variety of non-liquor items, unique things that would make lovely gifts or items as remembrance of your vacation in Rockport. The store is nestled in a lovely strip of stores and businesses, Live Oak Plaza. I’m headed back to this Plaza today to check out a just reopened restaurant and stop in a beauty shop for a pedicure.
