The Bead Studio — Local services in Rockport

Love The Bead Studio and Kathleen the owner. My group is called the South Texas Beaders and Kathleen has invited us several times to have our meetings in her shop. What a thrill for everyone to set in a comfortable well lit store that is full of goodies to make our jewelry making even more of a pleasure.

Kathleen is awesome and knows jewelry supplies. If she does not have what your looking for she will order it and even ships to your door.

I am a jewelry instructor along with several other amazing instructors available at The Bead Studio and cannot tell you how easy it is for students to take our classes and not have to run all over looking for what they will need. Kathleen always makes sure she has on hand the supplies you will need for most classes. All you have to do is pick your class and come join the fun.

This is Rockports' best Bead Shop. As you enter the shop you will be greeted by Kathleen, the owner, who wants her clientele to come to the shop, but most of all to experience the joy of beading. The shop is inviting and well laid out. There are different teachers who share their creative expertise giving classes each week in the shop. They are listed on the stores website. Kathleen is very helpful and will order things for beaders, if they are available. The shop has a number of tables that can accommodate large groups. She has the usual, i.e. seed beads, pearls, findings etc., and many other different types of beads (some very hard to find, and unusual). There are beautiful necklaces and earrings for purchase. Spent the afternoon looking through the great collection of beads offered here. I grabbed goodies for several necklaces, a few bracelets, and earrings. I even sat and designed a bracelet there at the beading table. This was great beading therapy. The studio is quite spacious so social distancing was a breeze. The owner was really friendly, adding to my overall experience. I live in Corpus Christi, so this is a bit off the beaten path for me.
