Subway — Restaurant in Rockport

Subway Sandwiches: 2861 Hwy 36 N Bypass Suite suite 3 Rockport, Texas So we arrived in Rockport Texas at 11:30 a.m. on Monday July 27, 2020, to check on our house after Hurricane Hannah! Decided to stop at Subway for a to go order. The young lady that met me at the door was very nice and stated they were experiencing flooding in a portion of the restaurant but she could fix me a sandwich to go. I ordered my favorite, an Italian BMT with the fixins. Right behind me was a lady who also ordered. I noticed she got her order first and that should have been a tip off for me. I got home and later on I went to eat my sandwich. It was Lettuce, Tomato and chicken. Hmm! Went back to the Subway and the young lady stated that she gave my order to her and her order to me. She immediately blamed the stress caused by the flooding. Hmm. Young people, it’s alright to admit you messed up! Accept responsibility - Please! You are only human and all of us make mistakes. PS: My Sandwich was terrible. First bad sandwich I’ve had at Subway in a very long time. Oh, well! I was hungry so I ate what I could. My qualifications as an Expert and Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have a BS in Management and have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I’ve managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. As a Culinary Trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and expert customer service. At the age of 73, I am now retired and enjoy being on the other side...

A little busy but let me say my opinion on service, 3 girls upfront, manager in the back working, the first girl was very polite, very helpful, moving on to the next girl, she asked what kind of veggies did I want so i asked if she can put some of my chips in my sandwich before I put the lettuce in, well, the third girl which was cashier talks to me like i am a little kid and says no, you have to do it yourself and then shakes her head, I looked at her and said, well how come the other subway places in Corpus Christi do it with no problems? Now realize, the rest of the crew hasnt finished there order yet, this cashier then asked after the fact that I said Corpus Christi does it with no problems, she said will this be all, I said no because the rest of the party isn't done ordering yet and you'll have to wait! So she walked off and never came back out from the back, Id gladly like to know her name so i can blast it , but for now, lets call...

This place was horrible from the start. Walked in at 830pm and was told the restroom was closed. The manager on duty said she leaves at 9 and has the employees clean them early so she can leave. To which I said the restroom should be open during business hours. She then tried to argue her point and I had to stop her and tell her that there was no arguement. I'm a restaurant manager and know health code would not allow for that. Then they told us the 2 types of bread were ordered were not available this close to closing. Once again they close at 10. Finally were ordered subway melts and received subway clubs. The blonde manager with glasses was a poor representative of the owners and franchise. Thanks...
