This is not about the store itself, rather this is about the company and they clothes they sell at a premium. The lack of quality is astonishing and I wouldn't be surprised if torrid goes out of business within the decade. There is absolutely 0 staying power to the clothes. For instance, I bought a pair of gym pants this summer (2024) and I just had to throw them away (Dec 2024) from piling and holes in the crotch. The pajama pants that are wide leg and very loose on me, are also piling and the fabric essentially washes away when being laundered.
