Torrid — Local services in Roseville

This is not about the store itself, rather this is about the company and they clothes they sell at a premium. The lack of quality is astonishing and I wouldn't be surprised if torrid goes out of business within the decade. There is absolutely 0 staying power to the clothes. For instance, I bought a pair of gym pants this summer (2024) and I just had to throw them away (Dec 2024) from piling and holes in the crotch. The pajama pants that are wide leg and very loose on me, are also piling and the fabric essentially washes away when being laundered. I had never shopped at Torrid before, but as a gender queer male I can honestly say it was such a wonderful experience. There was a shirt I saw someone wearing that I absolutely loved and they informed me they got it at Torrid, so naturally I had to go check it out. I always get nervous walking into stores designed for women because I am male and am male presenting, but they welcomed me in, helped me find what I was looking for and informed me of different sizes and lengths I could get for my body. Every time my daughter and I come into this store, not one salesperson acknowledges us or asks if we need help. They just stand around talking and ignore every customer that comes in. We always walk out without buying anything just for this reason. You’d think that on some days, other workers would be different, but no. It must be the way the managers train them.
