First, let me say that when I first started shopping here, it was a very nice, friendly store, but I guess when the Hours got cut, things went downhill for the RESPECT for "CUSTOMERS" and their merchandise!! My experience yesterday was not good at all. You have a cashier African American with blonde Shirley temple curls building the lineup with personal info that held more than 8 people up that was standing in the line over 10 minutes without calling backup. One of the ladies that worked their that was also standing in the line had to get out the line and call for help, and the other lady thought it was funny. Me and the other customers didn't find what she said funny as she did. No compassion for others, rude customer service, didn't care because, as she stated, she has another job. So there you go. I picked up my layaway yesterday along with making a purchase. Cherile brought my order out and it had stickers on my purchase, after the day I put them in for layaway, I clearly told that young girl who was ringing me up to not put stickers on my merchandise, ur other worker Janice which is the elderly lady was a witness of me explaining to her several times as how that could go. So, of course, she took it upon herself and did what she wanted to. U have a very sarcastic person by the name of Jacob that told me, they couldn't and didn't have nothing to take the sticker damage off and told me I could do it and that was that. So I was told that I could speak to the store Mgr not assistant, not supervisor. I asked for Store Management because I know for FACTS you all don't treat your customers like garbage. After I drive from Olympia fields to come and patronize with your business. So I left a note and the damage plants for me to call this morning to speak to the Store Manager, I spoke to a Jason over the phone whom I thought was the same silly person from yesterday. So the conversation didn't go to well over the phone I drove up here because I was told that you wouldn't be available until noon not that you wasn't here, until I came to the store and ask for you, I was told then but Jason which act as if I was getting on his nerve, at this point I apologize because all tho him and Jacob may Look Alike they weren't the same individuals Jacob is much taller but they both have the same stink attitudes. I'm really not knowing why again was Jason demeanor as if I was the person that aggravated or agitated him! I tried so bad to sit around because I feel like I need to be compensated for my lost time and my gas coming back and forth and also an Apology for the dismissing me and how both employee's treated me inside of your store for NO REASON. I think my money spends just like the next person's and damn what happened to Respect..! So as of today I will not be coming back to this store to patronize and I will be calling corporate because it's no way that they're hiring folks that can't be Positive and Great Customer Service or Support paying Customers. I'm not asking them to be my friend, but I be dammed if I go into a store and meet people like these 3! Janice and Cherile and the lady that was getting off that went beyond to call help, know what customer service is about. Also, they beat the bottom of my plants up and only gave me 10% off.. Smh, but I guess this is what I get for trying to Patronize here. Again, I'll be calling Corporate to make sure somebody hears how I was treated at...
Read moreI had to wait till I got home to write this, after visiting my friends up here. I was excited to see this store since where I live this store isn't anywhere I live. Yet I digress, the store is not what it claims to be at all. The floors are filthy beyond belief, the floors are so filthy that anything that so happens to fall on them becomes just as filthy. There is no clear organization to anything at all, it is like clown house. There is trash laying everywhere and anywhere from lack of care from management. The manager on duty, a short graying male appearing to be in his late to late 40s or early 50s, Jason, I think his name tag says, was extremely rude to not only me, but my disabled friend yet so polite to the young lady who appeared to under age, he was so extremely polite, eerily polite to her. There was unattended children ranging from 2 years of age to 13 years of age running about throwing items from fragile items such as glass to more solid items like toys at other customers. Management, Jason, did not try to stop this or seek out parents to have them leave. The wait time was awful, but this isn't the cashiers fault, as there was only one person, I unfortunately didn't catch their name, and Jason wasn't willing to help them only opting to hide away or yell at the woman on the register. Over all this was the most awful experience I have ever had the unfortunate time dealing with, in the end if I could I wouldn't even give this store 1 star at all. This place isn't worth the time of day or even the money they're charging. It's all a joke to shop here. From employees being yelled at for mistakes that wasn't their own, to management unwilling to help and being creepy as well as abliest, and the store itself looking like a hoarder house, it was a super negative...
Read moreI bought over $200 worth of merchandise and I needed to return some stuff and went to the store with my receipt to return it and they cashier informed me that they don’t take clearance back and I informed her that I was told that when purchasing the merchandise and she kept apologizing that she can’t return it I asked to talk to the manager and he came and when he saw that I was wearing a hijab his face said it all that he wasn’t going to be helpful and started telling me the same thing I was told from the cashier without introducing him self listening to what I have to say he straight up told me we can’t take this back and I was telling him I wasn’t informed about this and moving forward I know that but he still said I can’t return it and mind you I have my receipt but still said I can get store credit still refused and now I’m getting frustrated and he kept saying it’s store policy I asked him where does it say that it doesn’t say it on the receipt or anywhere and I pointed to the board behind the register where it has the story policy and told him it doesn’t even say that on the board and he sat there reading and even going through the small print and still had no proof that I can’t return the merchandise and refused to return by giving me the bags and saying I can’t return it and shaking his head this manager Jacob is the most rude...
