Very disappointed in this attraction. I booked weeks ahead for a large group that was going to be in town for childs birthday party. I received confirmation via email with an address and phone number. The day of the event we started to head towards the show from the fort half an hour before show time. We quickly realized we were having trouble locating it (the room is tucked away in a plaza of many other stores) I wanted to call and ask for assistance and also let the performer know we were on our way but the phone number was disconnected completely. We arrived 12 minutes late. We were the only people who booked for that showtime. We were created by an extremely condescending jerk of a performer who chastised us about our tardiness. I tried to explain that I tried to call ahead but the phone number didn't work but was shot down. I wasn't given a refund, I was told that if the next show wasn't full they may be able to put us in that one but after the attitude of the performer in front of my group of kids I did not want to watch the show. I have been going to st. Augustine my entire life. It is a tourist destination and when you are running a business relying on the public like this it behooves you to be accommodating and understanding. Not rude and demeaning. Would have rather threw my $50...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I attended this magic show this past Sunday on 3/24/24. We were the first ones to enter the magic room and were 15 minutes early. As I turned to walk back out to use the restroom, I accidently dropped two folded one dollar bills from my pocket. As I realized I dropped the money and turned around to retrieve it, the magician picked the money up and quickly concealed it. I immediately explained that I had dropped the money, at which time he quickly denied my ownership, walked behind his curtain and refused to return my $2.00. We were so shocked he really stole my money in front of us!!. It was only two freaking dollars, but the principal really bothered me that he was so dishonest. We stayed for the magic show, but all I kept thinking about during the show was this guy literally stole my money in front of us. I would have tipped him the money jeezzz. How would I rate the show even if he wasn't a thief? I give it a grade of C. If you, the magician, is reading this ...honesty goes a long way buddy. A real sleaze ball move buddy. That wasn't a magic trick you pulled. That was...
Read moreThis is a very fun family-friendly activity! We saw the sign for a magic show and decided to give it a try. This was my kids’ first magic show, and Vinny did not disappoint! He was so fun and had us all laughing and saying “WHAT?” “How did he do that?!” the whole time! It’s a 20-minute show, which was just the right length for my 4- and 6-year olds. The levitation part of the show had everyone on the edge of the seats trying to figure out what was going on! They have a full wall of magic kits (including a levitation learning kit!) for sale, which made my kids pay attention to the show more since the tricks could be potentially learned at home. And, half of the price of the tickets can be applied to the kits, so after buying four tickets a kit was only two bucks. My kids are so excited to learn some tricks! While we were deciding which to get, Vinny was helpful and even showed us another couple of tricks.
The venue was small and intimate, so everyone got a chance to participate. You can bring in snacks and grab a beer or glass of wine from next...
