Well, I'm thinking (and hoping) my experience was an aberration from the norm based off other glowing reviews. I walked in today with 1 other person already in the store. The associate was speaking to him and I perused the different knives and sections. He finished with the other customer and I figured he'd acknowledge me next. He did not. He stood behind the counter. Another guy walked in and he attempted to engaged him in conversation by saying, "I can see you looking at the knives here, they're all made in NC". The other guy said, "no, just kinda looking around". I was standing a couple feet from them both yet he failed to ever ask if I could use help or what I was looking to purchase. I actually went and found my girlfriend and she came around and also saw him disregard me. Not until we were both staring at him, mostly in disbelief, did he mumble, "if I can help you let me know" with NONE of the enthusiasm he showed with the other 2 patrons. I am not easily offended but seriously, I was thinking about purchasing a couple things and decided not to support this business. I'm not sure if it was because I'm a woman or gay that her disregarded my presence. I will not go back or recommend this particular store.

Let me begin by saying what a store. Me and my father have been going to this store ever since it’s opening. What keeps us coming back is not because of what is on the shelves, but to see Ted. Ted is the owner of the store and is one of the most welcoming, knowledgeable, genuine, kind, honest, and fair person you’ll probably ever run into. As soon as you walk in, the first thing you’ll notice and feel is Teds positive and welcoming energy. If you walk in with a bad mood, I can promise you, you’ll leave in a great mood. Ted takes tremendous care and puts in tremendous time to ensure that all of his customers is treated with the highest respect and is served the best customer service, weather your a new customer, or a frequent customer, I can assure you that you’ll be treated like family. I can tell you from experience, in this store you’ll find the highest of quality from all price points. What I love the most about this store (besides seeing Ted)is that you are never pressured into buying something, and you are free to touch and play with every item in the store. Took a trip to St Aug back in May 2016. Stopped into this nice hobby shop, seen some pretty cool drones and I decided to purchase one. After spending a few hundred dollars, the cashier claimed how helpful the owner was with drones, and told me if I ever had a problem to contact him anytime at the number on the card. I was impressed.

So, here is the review. After a few weeks the motors on the drone had problems, one stopped working and another is not far behind and not running properly. After numerous calls in the past 4 months and speaking with the owner once on the phone and members of his staff a few times, I still have anot expensive piece of plastic that does not work.

I'll just take this as a lesson learned. Since then I have bought another drone, works great and great customer service. Hopefully when I make another trip down from Indiana I will get the opportunity to take this back for a full refund....
