ZaZoo'd — Local services in Saint Petersburg

Beware of David Fischer and Zazoo’d design services. We retained David because he told us that he had direct access to the maker of a high-end furniture line which we were interested in and his discount would offset his design costs. After he took our deposit, we did not hear from him again for five months, he could not deliver on his promise, and he did not return our money. The designs he did show us were not cohesive or tasteful and amounted to nothing more than a cut and paste of cheap items he pulled off the internet. We had a lot of patience for him to get it right. Nevertheless, he started calling us names, making us wrong, and belittling us to cover for his own inabilities and to have an excuse to keep our money. David should have kept his job at the Olive Garden because inasmuch as he loves the design business, he is simply not talented, doesn’t have resources he asserts he has, is emotionally immature, and he has no integrity.

It is likely that David will write a long and verbose response to this review because he did that elsewhere. He will spend more time writing it than he spent on the design we paid him for. We have experience with interior design and style professionally and personally. In fact, when we sold our home in South Tampa to move to our property in Old Northeast St. Petersburg the Sotheby's realtor thought our house had already been staged because it was so beautiful. In fact, that is how we live.
