Crislip Cafe in St. Pete, Florida, is a delightful spot that has captured my heart with its exceptional coffee and drinks. As someone who didn't try their food, I can confidently say that their beverages alone make it a must-visit destination.
The cafe's hip and modern vibe is immediately inviting, making it a perfect place to relax, socialize, or get some work done. The staff is not only friendly and knowledgeable but also clearly passionate about their craft, which is evident in the quality of their drinks.
The coffee menu at Crislip Cafe is a true highlight. They offer a range of expertly crafted hot and cold drip coffees that cater to all preferences. One of my favorites is their Cold Brew, which is smooth, rich, and incredibly refreshing—perfect for the warm Florida climate. If you're in the mood for something more indulgent, their Lattes are beautifully balanced with just the right amount of creaminess and robust espresso flavor.
For those who enjoy a bit of creativity in their coffee, Crislip Cafe has some unique offerings that are sure to delight. Their signature drinks, such as the Maple Bourbon Latte, provide an innovative twist on classic favorites, adding layers of flavor that make each sip an experience to remember. The Iced Matcha Latte is another standout, with its vibrant green tea flavor and subtle sweetness.
In addition to their coffee, Crislip Cafe also offers an impressive selection of teas, both hot and iced, catering to tea enthusiasts with a variety of flavors and blends. The Iced Hibiscus Tea is a personal favorite, with its refreshing, slightly tart flavor that's perfect for a hot day.

Read moreI see some reviews talking about "friendly service". I wish I had the same experience. I've worked in the service industry almost all of my life before switching to medical so I understand the behavior I experienced to a point but not after the fourth visit. This guy thats at the counter (Deacon, I think his name is?) has this vibe like he is friendly, but God forbid the coffee is made wrong. This guy is extremely passive aggressive. I asked him to remake my coffee which was made wrong and he starts talking to me about how we (people) shouldn't waste (which he is 10000% right, and if my order was right, there would have been zero coffee wasted) and how in his "25 years of experience" if they give him the wrong steak order (his example), he'll just take it. Excuse me? I wasn't looking for a lecture, just coffee please. Literally all FOUR times I've come, this guy seems like he's grumpy. I only asked him to remake my coffee one time, even though twice I got the wrong order. His customer service seems soooo hit or miss, and I know we all have our bad days, but dude, FOUR TIMES I've walked out feeling bad. I see him smile and talk it up but if something is wrong or seems complicated, I've watched this extremely passive aggressive side surface and its not cool, even though his vibe would suggest that he is. The stars are for the food. The sandwiches are sooo delicious! I discovered them the last time I went. I think I ordered one that's called "Southern Hospitality"? So good. What's strange is that I ordered a sandwich the day before and received it. Today I go at the same time (I leave my meeting at the same time every day) and now today "we don't sell sandwiches at this time". I don't know, my experiences here have been pretty poor all FOUR times, and I hope when you (the reader) come here, you have a...

Let your mind and taste buds wander to thoughts of a Bohemian chic coffee shop in the village of NYC in it's funkiest, hippest days before rampant commercialization and soul crushing rents.
This quirky fun visually engaging shop is filled with local art on the walls, funky retro decor and chachkis galore, staffed by fun, interesting and interactive Barista's who know their trade and are happy to recommend a java creation the likes of the scintillating black magic woman, Tennessee whiskey, s'mores or create your own new favorite.
Pastries both sweet and savory are on hand to seal your diet death and are top notch, locally sourced and delicious. We reluctantly recommend the spinach artichoke stuffed croissant and the blueberry scones (at the risk of there being none for us when we arrive).
Then "exit through the gift shop" filled with kitschy t shirts, mugs, hand crafted soaps and high quality one off things you never knew you needed fair.
Don't forget to walk off your Crisslip and level up your local knowledge by taking a stroll up and down the ever cool and burgeoning central avenue and beach drive. Both charming and filled with local one off shops and restaurants, museumd, parks and overall cool not yet removed by over development, Urban sprawl, commercialization and increasing rents.
Keep these one off wonders alive by your...
