The 5-star reviews are accurate and completely warranted. I got my first piercing in over a decade last night at Thistle and the experience was everything you would want from a piercer. When I was getting pierced more often 10+ years ago, I had only deviated from my normal and trusted piercing studio (Purple Scorpion) once and the experience was not great. Since the Purple Scorpion is no longer in business, I chose Thistle Piercing based on the reviews. My appt was set for 5:50 pm and due to bad time management & Friday traffic, I couldn’t arrive until 6:20 but they were super flexible and understanding with me. The process was quick, smooth, and as painless as a facial piercing could and should be. I feel bad that I can’t remember who actually pierced me - Brian or Joe - but he was excellent. Super knowledgeable and professional. Everything is clean and sanitized. If I had questions, he would have answered them but he gave me all the info I needed so questions were unnecessary. Prices were more than reasonable, concerning the great service they provide. 10 out of 10 would recommend. The reviews are great...

Everyone was super attentive and friendly. The piercing space looked like a doctor’s office. Everything was super neat and clean. The piercer was very professional and efficient. He talked me through the whole process. There was barely any pain. It felt like getting a vaccine— just a quick pinch! Before I left, I was given a comprehensive care guide. I was warned there might be some swelling and soreness, but it was practically non-existent. A couple months later, my piercing has healed beautifully and I am so happy with how it looks!
