Gateway Plaza — Local services in Salt Lake City

I am a lifelong SLC resident and have frequented the Gateway in the past. I got a parking ticket in May while parked in a spot that I believed was public city parking. There were no signs indicating that it was private parking, so, being that it was well after 6 pm, I didn't feed the meter. I received a ticket, which is understandable, but the frustrating thing is you cannot call anyone to talk to, and you can only dispute online, which I did, giving an explanation as to why I hadn't paid the meter. I had absolutely zero response back about the status of the dispute, even though you have to enter an email address if you are dipsuting. I had to keep checking the site, and finally, the status on their site showed that I owed $50.00! $50.00 dollars for a parking ticket! No explanation for the decision. No email regarding anything about it. Nothing. So, Gateway management, you got your money for the parking, but if that's the way you want to treat your patrons, then never again will I spend a single dollar for entertainment, shopping or dining at the...

Gateway is a City within the gleaming towers of Downtown Salt Lake City, UT. I was so Suprised to find this Shiek-upscale neighborhood of Very Modern Stores and attractions tucked away within the tall buildings. I went to see Jurassic Park Domain at the Megaplex. Using GPS I easily located it and discovered Gateway. It cost $6.99 To park using your smartphone. $13.00 For my Ticket. OVER $ 5.00 each for small popcorn and small coke. Over $30.00 per person. This was not a great place for those that have dogs with them in the cold weather. The discourteous pleb of a head manager was unwilling to accommodate my girlfriend and I in regards to the patio seating options that his understudy-front cash register operator had offered us when we bought the beer and burger meal combos totalling $32.57 at their establishment.
